How to Properly Grow an Instagram Account in 2020

neon signage

In the near-decade that Instagram has been around, its feed and app have gone through many iterations. With every tweak to the algorithm and the introduction of new features, businesses need to keep up to maintain a steady account growth.

So how do you adapt? By trying out and incorporating new growth strategies. For this piece, we’ll cover organic Instagram growth strategies but we do recommend support with ads if you have the budget for it.

Growing Instagram accounts are a lot harder these days because there is little chance to achieve the old organic reach that was possible back in 2016 days. Instagram has been updating its API and back end almost weekly, and because of that, their platform has suffered tremendously. We went looking out for companies that would have some insight on how to grow an Instagram account in 2020 properly and what we could do as a user to achieve substantial growth on a platform that offers no more help.

What is the recommended Growth strategy?

We talked with Danila from Glydelka in St. Petersburg Russia, and what they had to say was fascinating. They said how growing on Instagram naturally can almost definitely be the way to never grow. They said how in order to grow, you must have some sort of tool in order to help supplement tasks that would already naturally help drive traffic. But what was this strategy? Why is it so hard to grow? And what can we do in order to fix these problems?

Let’s start off with what you normally do and who sees what you normally do.

As a general user you tend to like photos/videos, comment on them, and then maybe share it with others. People take notice of these such tasks, but they also take notice when it’s not genuine. The general public is becoming smarter and smarter to where they know you are running some sort of automation software. But what else do you normally do that a general user could most likely not take notice of unless they were genuinely curious? Story Views.

When looking to gain an audience, we were told by Glydelka that curiosity is what drives the audience to engage with you. Now imagine if you posted a cool story but then you noticed an account that was verified watch your story. Better yet, they are verified and have over 100k followers! You’d freak outright? That curiosity would drive you to want to know more about them. The icing on the cake? Imagine that they post cute dog videos that you already love and adore, checkmate. Your curiosity has just driven that influencer an extra follower and an extra loyal customer to their dog products. Learning how to properly grow an Instagram account in 2020 is a lot easier especially when companies like Glydelka and others work hard to give users like you and me an opportunity to grow.

What Glydelka does is not only help you with making your Instagram pop out visually but also does story views. They view millions of stories a day that fits your niche and help drive traffic to your page. We couldn’t have found another tactical strategy that is so discreet and so effective at growing your account.
