India Dupriez is Redefining the Music Industry with Meaningful Lyrics and Beautiful Harmonies

Some music enthusiasts would say the industry is oversaturated with songs that lack genuine meaning behind them. However, the music industry has drastically changed over the past few decades, with more talented musicians having the opportunity to create songs and stream them on different platforms, including Spotify. One of those artists, India Dupriez, is only eighteen years and has a strong, solid voice that will get her far.

While some songs don’t have much meaning to them, the music that India writes and performs is the opposite. She dives deep into genuine experiences to create touching lyrics that listeners can relate to and feel good about, whether they’re at home or on the go. “I’ve always had a passion for songwriting and creating beautiful music. So, I started attending open mics, busking, and performing for the community. I gained my confidence after each performance and quickly realized that the music industry was perfect for me,” shared Dupriez. “I think that people appreciate my vocal talent but are also captivated by the relatable lyrics that I’ve written. I didn’t want my songs to lack meaning. I believe music is a beautiful thing that people should be able to relate to, and my goal is to create beautiful music for people from around the world to enjoy.”

India Dupriez has a pop genre label but is the kind of woman who doesn’t necessarily believe you have to stick to one genre. “While I’m labeled a pop music artist, I feel like my music can fit into several genres. I’m always thinking outside the box and creating songs that sound different because I want to set myself apart from the rest,” said Dupriez. “There are many talented musicians that I look up to, but I don’t compare myself to anyone because I want to be myself while creating music that makes listeners feel good. When people listen to my music, I want them to get excited about what they’re hearing.”

Despite her young age, India Dupriez is headed down the path to success, earning accolades and garnering the attention of Symba Music Group, which currently represents her. In addition to representation from the Los Angeles-based music group, she has traveled to California to write and record music with top-rated producers, including Chizzy Stephens and Kyle Moorman. These producers have worked with celebrities like Justin Bieber and P!nk.

Her latest single, Pray, is a tune that many can relate to when they hear it. The lyrics resonate with those who often feel like they can’t depend on anyone in life other than God through prayer. It’s one of several recent songs released, along with Ghost, an emotional breakup song perfect for those experiencing heartbreak due to a failed relationship.

Intending to redefine the music industry with meaningful lyrics and beautiful harmonies, India Durpiez looks forward to creating and releasing new music for music enthusiasts to enjoy. When she isn’t writing songs or performing, she’s spending time exploring, filming, taking photos, and hanging out with family and friends. Follow India Dupriez on Instagram to learn more about her music and new releases.
