Tinger Hseih is a travel and food blogger who has lost over twenty pounds by enjoying beautiful, nutritious dishes—and she wants to show you how to do the same!

For anyone who has tried to lose weight, one of the biggest complaints (and reasons for quitting) is the perception that to shed pounds, one must accept a life of bland “rabbit food.” Tinger Hseih is a glowing, vibrant example food and travel blogger who stylishly shatters that myth, one social media post at a time. Not only does Hseih enjoy creating low-carb versions of popular comfort foods, but she also shows her followers how to relish travel to gorgeous places around the globe, all without having to sacrifice the savory regional cuisine. With a rapidly increasing following on social media, including over 16,000 on Clubhouse and 141,000 on Instagram, Hseih teaches the masses that you truly can eat your way to a beautiful life!

A Media Mogul

What began as sharing low-carb recipes on Facebook gained traction and eventually led to the hosting of food and travel shows for Tastemade. Before taking her budding business full-time, Hseih worked in the digital advertising industry for popular platforms such as Myspace. When these companies had difficulty understanding the influencer lifestyle that she lived and trouble communicating with influencers for marketing campaigns, Hseih thought she might be onto something. Even influencers themselves struggled to negotiate their own deals or fully understand their brand’s messaging. This is where Hseih came in handy. She is able to speak both languages and bridge the gap.

Hseih began blogging about food in 2015, establishing her own consultancy three years later, Dash of Media. The company provides a liaison between content creators and agencies in the food and travel niche. The business focuses on digital marketing, influencer marketing, content creation, and experiential activations. Hseih speaks the creators’ language and helps curate organic campaigns for their audience and marketing messages, making her a trusted source. Hseih’s personal journey of weight loss deepened her interest in the niche.

Clubhouse Celebrity

Creating fun videos on social media platforms to promote cultural diversity through food makes Hseih stand out from the competition. She says “If I could help fuse food and cultural diversity in a similar way to Chef Anthony Bourdain, that would just thrill me.” Hseih has seen impressive growth in the short time she has been in the game. Currently, she is a top food and travel creator on the popular app, Clubhouse. Through her club, “Dish It,” Hseih hosts content creators and celebrities to share their knowledge about negotiating brand deals, scaling on social media, and industry trends in pop culture. Some popular creators have included Justin (DCFoodPorn), Chef Chris Cho, Chef Priyanka, Hyunee Eats, and Sonny (Best Ever Food Review Show).

“I believe that Clubhouse is a great way to network with more people across diverse industries on a global scale.”

-Tinger Hseih

Hseih has vastly fanned out her network since joining the Clubhouse app in November 2020, including celebrity chefs. “After moderating in various rooms, Fortune 500 CPG brands and agencies have reached out to me about upcoming campaigns,” she says. Hseih has plans to continue expanding her brand, teaching people how not only to eat but to fall in love again with food, make friendships and collaborations with people on a global scale, and realize optimal health in the process.
