Executive Voice
Interview With Detroit Artist Jacob Sinawi aka Big Juicy

Hi Big Juicy! How are you?
“I’m doing great, how are you?”
Where are you from?
“I am from Detroit, Michigan.”
When did you start music?
“I started making music in 2017. I started off doing freestyles at parties
at Michigan State University.”
How did you get into music?
“At a young age, music inspired me and I felt like it was a different
connection from anything else I had ever done. I eventually started
freestyling at parties. That helped me realize that I really loved music
and it was something I wanted to pursue.”
What is the most challenging thing you have overcome in your life?
“The most challenging thing I have overcome is growing up with a
handicapped brother and the fact that he was never able to live a full,
real-life like anyone else. Because of that, I feel like I had to grow up
at a young age.”
What is your greatest inspiration for your music?
“My family is my greatest inspiration as well as other past musicians such as Biggie.”
What are 3 words that describe your music?
“Vibes, energy, and relaxation, because I think I have a really relaxing voice.”
What do you want people to take away after listening to your music?
“I just want them to feel my energy and my vibe. I want people to be
able to listen to my music regardless of how their day has gone.”
What is your greatest achievement as a musician?
“I had a lot of shows lined up before coronavirus, but my greatest
achievement to date was when I had a sold-out show at the Living
Touch in Ferndale, MI.”
Do you produce your own music? If not who do you work with?
“I do not produce my own music, but I record my music at the Mix
Factory in Michigan. I work with about 3 or 4 different producers. Some of them are based in Germany.”
Tell us about any new music you have coming out? When is coming out? What is it about?
“The next music I have coming out will be in the late summer/fall of
2021. It’s definitely going to be some vibes. I plan on using a lot more
melodies in my rap music.”
Anything else you want the audience to know about you?
“When you listen to my music, you’re listening to a bunch of different vibes,
but I want you to feel my energy. I hope you can listen to my music and
relate to it.”
