Interview With Matthew Petitto

How many fans usually watch your streams?

Typically I average 500 viewers a stream.

Do you find your audience varies based on what you’re streaming?

yes and no. My followers watch me because of the entertaining things I do in the stream such as impressions and funny moments.

How do you stay positive if you aren’t reaching your stream goals?

I always think positive and I always have fun. If I am not reaching my goals I work 10x harder to reach my goals.

How long did it take you to really get comfortable on twitch?

I have been streaming on twitch for only 2 weeks. I have reached such great achievements in only 2 weeks of streaming. For me things are instant and very easy to get used to things.

Are there any streamers who you look up to and hope to become one day?

There is one streamer I look up to and that is Nick Mercs. Both he and I stream the same games and as well both workout a lot. I feel me and him are very similar in ways of how entertaining we are.

Did you enjoy watching twitch streamers before you started it yourself?

Before I started I loved the concept of playing video games and making people smile. The thought of it sounds cool however, now that I am streaming it came to life and is very enjoyable. Now that I am streaming I hope to grow even more here.

Are there specific things you look for in other streamers to gain ideas for your own stream?

To be honest I try to be as original as possible. I don’t really rely on people’s ideas I come up with my own. Everything in my stream is very unique and one of a kind. When you’re in my stream I try to make my viewers escape from the negativity in the world and spread only positive vibes only.

What influenced you to start streaming?

There are many reasons why I started streaming now. I was going to start months prior however, sadly I was in a bad car accident and I couldn’t do a lot. Streaming took a lot of things off my mind and helped me in a way. By this I mean by seeing other people smile it makes me feel a lot better and me making everyone’s day just makes my day better.

What do you enjoy about streaming and that social media platform?

I enjoy many things about streaming. I like how I can play my favorite games and make people laugh and smile. As well I love to play with my followers. The more active a follower is I try to make sure they are noticed and can stream and I try my best to play games with all of them.

If there were one thing you’d want to change about twitch what would it be?

To be honest I love the app Twitch and there is not one thing that should be changed. I love how it gives opportunities to all and makes sure even the low viewer streamers get recognition.

What is the toughest thing about streaming ?

The toughest thing about streaming for many people is looking at the follower and view count. For me like I said I don’t stress that much however, in the beginning it is very normal to stress about these things. If I can give any advice it would be to be as positive as possible and to not look at the view count and just have fun!

Explain your set up and why you chose it

My setup is a two monitors, a gaming pc, PS5,corsair keyboard,SM7V, my headset that I use Arctis Pro and lastly I use an elgato HD60 to stream. I use this setup because it is the most professional way to stream. By using this equipment, it enhances my gameplay, sound, and lastly overall quality.

What are your favourite games to stream ?

My favorite games to stream are Call Of Duty Warzone, Fortnite, and Madden.

Have you entered a tournament? If not, are you planning on doing so ?

As of now I only started 2 weeks ago and I hope to definitely in the future I would love to be in some sort of tournament.

1Have any famous streams reached out to you ?

As of now not yet however, that is soon to come as I just started twitch i have already in 2 weeks became partnered/verified and affiliated in such little time
