Is ChangeNOW’s Multichain Bridge Solution for Regulators?

As a fintech leader, it’s no surprise ChangeNOW has had no choice but to pay close attention to regulator movement (or lack-thereof) as it relates to crypto exchanges. What may be surprising is what ChangeNOW has done in response: build.
This is a significant departure from the approach others have made as many crypto exchanges have chosen to be paralyzed, focused on lobbying or relocating to friendlier jurisdictions to address regulator concerns. ChangeNOW has instead built a suite of tools which address regulator concerns about bad actors, corporate governance, and customer security.
Decentralized finance platforms are increasing in popularity amongst users because they offer a greater range of trading tools but regulators, too, should be drawn to these platforms as a way of addressing their greatest concerns.
ChangeNOW’s latest release offers trading tools that aggregate liquidity through a non-custodial experience. Their multichain bridge ensures users can trade crypto pairs and participate in the ecosystem without being forced to accept the risk that comes with their participation in centralized exchanges. In other words, by retaining ownership, users don’t have to worry about their exchange allocating funds elsewhere like Sam Bankman-Fried (allegedly) did while operating FTX.
And by offering cross-chain trading in a decentralized format, ChangeNOW is not keeping user trades behind an internal curtain: trades are performed live, on-chain, which offers increased visibility into transactions and gives regulators a clear view into transactions they believe may be nefarious. Their agencies will have an easier time sniffing out such a thing if these transactions happen in public view on a decentralized financial instrument, as opposed to the black box that one might find with a centralized exchange.
ChangeNOW is leading the industry by actively addressing regulatory concerns and providing live solutions, rather than trying to negotiate their way to resolution.
