Jennifer Satchell Puts Customer Success Above All, Utilizing Innovative Digital Marketing Strategies to Grow their Business

Jennifer Satchell

The financial collapse of 2008 hit American workers hard, but it also ushered in a wave of entrepreneurs, whose products — WhatsApp, Venmo, and Uber, to name a few — have since transformed our world and enriched many of our lives. Jennifer Satchell, CEO and founder of 4321 Media Group, recalls working as an insurance agent in 2008 and seeing firsthand how the economic downturn slashed market opportunities and forced many of her client companies to scale down their operations or even close doors entirely. 4321 Media Group was born out of Jennifer Satchell’s desire to help her clients grow their customer base through a strategy involving targeted advertising, market research, and revamped sales systems.

Today, 4321 Media Group is a lot more than that. Emboldened by their initial success, Jennifer Satchell and her team have broken new ground by aggressively expanding their niche markets and suite of services. One of their many clients today is a record label, an initiative Jennifer Satchell considers both a challenge and something that has pushed her in entirely new directions from a creative standpoint.

Creativity comes to Jennifer Satchell by way of her mother, “forever a creative,” as she calls her. At the same time, Jennifer Satchell attributes her advertising know-how to her father, a career salesman. As someone who embodies the best parts of her role models, Jennifer makes it clear that a career in advertising and PR could not be a better fit for her. “Opening 4321 Media Group felt like coming home, and I’ve never looked back,” she says.

Jennifer’s road to success has not been without a number of challenges. She admits that going from an employee in one industry to a CEO in a completely different sphere “took courage and ambition” at levels she didn’t know she was capable of. Jennifer’s words echo a commonly-held reluctance to uproot ourselves and leave behind a tried-and-true career that we are comfortable in. Beyond taking a massive personal risk of this nature, Jennifer also had to master new skills and new technologies to propel her success as a digital marketing guru.

Even today, Jennifer continues to overcome the obstacles she finds herself face-to-face with. 4321 Media Group operates in a very competitive space, but Jennifer is able to leverage her insurance background — more specifically her understanding of what a “relationship business” is — to make and foster the connections required to elevate her clients towards their business goals.

Jennifer Satchell, and 4321 Media Group by extension, would not be where she is today if she did not possess a contagious degree of enthusiasm and a gritty mentality. “If you have an idea that gnaws at the corners of your mind, that keeps you awake at night only to pull you out of bed the next day with excitement and vigor, it means you have something the world needs,” she affirms. When asked about what advice she would give to those just setting out as entrepreneurs, she says, “Go for it. Deafen your ears to the critics, put blinders on around the naysayers. Go all in, with reckless abandon.” Looking at how much 4321 Media Group has grown since its inception, it is clear that her own advice has served Jennifer very, very well.
