Entrepreneurship

Meet Jessica Mcilveen, an influential coach, speaker and researcher from Australia.

Her grit, passion and compassion for people and her understanding of close relationships within a home have helped her become a leading family relationship expert.

All our lives, we see people running behind a certain aim and goal in life in building their career stronger and succeeding in their areas of interest. Most of the time, we find that successful professionals hardly get time to focus on their personal lives. This gives rise to many new issues and problems that somehow disrupt the ‘happy family’ concept for people, which drives them towards unhappiness and feelings of disconnection with family members and loved ones. When these issues start affecting the relationship of each family member, that person who is notably responsible for these issues will eventually seek professional help. This is when expert coaches, consultants and speakers enter the picture who work around these issues with the family and bring the connection back at their homes. Jessica Mcilveen from Australia is one such name that has been buzzing high in the country for her expertise and passion as a leading family relationship expert who has been working for over 10 long years.

Jessica has over 10-years of experience working along families from all over the world to bring back love, contentment, connection and harmony in their homes. Jessica Mcilveen graduated from Griffith University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social work. The unconventional coach initially had stepped foot into doing Social Work, where she worked with child protection and foster care where her role was to recruit, assess, train, support and monitor kinship and foster carers, who provide a home for children and young people. However, she noticed that there were several demands and expectations that the system and foster carers placed on children to show up in a certain way, despite their traumas. Since she saw that the children were stuck in a system that no longer supported them, she left the space and went ahead in starting her own company in the form of Kids Yoga Therapy, where she worked with children with special needs and trauma.

Today, Jessica Mcilveen is an NLP Master Practitioner and Time Line Therapist, Hypnotherapist and Epigenetic Coach. Over the years working as a Social Worker and then developing a deeper insight about how children and their understanding are affected; she tried to utilize her unique holistic approach and now also supports parents in creating connected relationships with their children through her expertise in empowering body, mind and spirit processes with also understanding their epigenetic expressions and stages of development.

Apart from this, Jessica Mcilveen also hosts luxurious Nourishing Mother’s Retreats that have gone a step further to help all the mothers out there. She created these retreats for mothers to relax and recharge, for broadening their mindsets for the better and giving them the calm they need from the normal hustle and bustle of life surrounded by the duties of children and families. After Jessica Mcilveen realized that with Kids Yoga Therapy, her first company, she was heading nowhere as she realized that she was feeding on the public perception that children are always the problem. Hence, she created her current business, where she works with parents to increase their understanding, instead of judgments and expectations.

Jessica Mcilveen has earned a massive name across Australia and many other parts of the world as a passionate and leading motivational speaker, coach and consultant. To know more, follow her on Instagram @jessica.mcilveen.
