Meeting With Floran Royer And Getting A Glimpse Behind The Scenes

Let’s get into a discussion with Floran, one of the producers of Zorba Group. He opens up about balancing his personal life with his working life and tells us more about Zorba!

The 33 years old man, who recently joined the Royal House of Savoy, joins the Zorba Group and explains his journey with various multiples of projects getting lined up to be released. The now Earl of Piemont, Floran Royer, belongs to a universe where there is infinite gravity of screenplays and production. Having worked on different music videos for artists like Beyonce, Madonna, Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles and Lady Gaga as a VFX producer before now focusing on working in a positive environment with interesting, nice people.

In the business world, it’s certainly no secret that you can generate local, national and even global exposure by advertising the right way with the right digital assets – commercials, feature films, etc. If done correctly, the results can be very rewarding–but if done incorrectly, it could cost you your entire investment in advertising and marketing. Hence, it becomes absolutely necessary that you have the right executing director and producer while you work with such digital communication assets that convey about the brand/business.

How do you feel about work-life balance and tell us about your personal life, obligations and your work life?

To be honest it’s not always easy. As a spouse, I don’t have many official duties but I know I will have to be more involved in the life of the family once the sanitary situation gets better. It will be a challenge but I’m sure I’ll be able to manage it. My husband is very supportive and we always find a way to keep our private life and stay away from the pressure that can come from this kind of family.

Did you think about ending your career?

I did and I still do sometimes but honestly, I know I just couldn’t stop working. I love my job way too much to do so! Plus, my co-workers are the best so… No, I won’t end my career.

Being a Post-Producer at Zorba, can you tell us a little something about who they are?

Zorba is a Paris-based creative agency with the earnest potential of being a multinational but on a family business level. The work at Zorba, the teams, and the work culture is extremely welcoming. What’s really nice about working with Zorba is the fact that we can go through many different things, navigate through different horizons and make the best creatives. I joined the team about a year ago during the first wave of the pandemic.

How would you, Floran, describe your biggest achievement?

My greatest achievement was being the Line Producer on a feature using a brand new technology. The movie called “The guardians of Delaria” is a heroic fantasy movie directed by Chris Bouchard, an English director with an English cast. That was the most challenging and rewarding career changer for me!

How does Zorba explore a new level of creativity in every project and still succeed in conquering the client’s satisfaction?

At Zorba, creatives are given life by taking them from 0 to the zenith of creativity. We work in various niches like Beauty, Luxury, Cinema & Innovation, Life Science. The creative process from the client’s brief to the final delivery varies in every niche and is customized to the greatest extent as per the client’s requirement. We bring a perpetual work in progress, an evolution of what we imagine. Going further than what the client wanted at the beginning, and trying things. That’s the beauty of 3D work!

How does the venture set itself uniquely in this saturated world of competition?

What sets Zorba apart from its peers and competitors is its love for technology and a team of experts in the fields gives an upper hand that many others don’t have. The creativity and art that we put into science is undefeatable.
