ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Shenai Bridglall is a serial founder, investor, and philanthropist of Indian-South African descent. She runs a venture studio, SBFO, which builds consumer brands with distinct intellectual property and focuses on empowering people, especially women. A portion of proceeds from her brands is directed towards her non-profit, The EssBee Foundation, to fulfill her goal of funding education for 1,000 girls by 2030.

Since childhood, Shenai has suffered from underarm discoloration, which led to her feeling self-conscious about her underarms and often restricting her wardrobe to clothing with sleeves. Before founding MEGAGLOW, she tried hundreds of treatments to eliminate the discoloration, but to no avail. Her vision is for MEGAGLOW to become an accessible, inclusive brand that enables people of all skin tones to feel more confident and comfortable in their skin.
