Moneymadejrr Discusses Career, Background, & New Music

Elean, better known as Moneymadejrr, is a rising Hispanic artist from Louisville, Kentucky. The rap/hip-hop artist has gaining traction quickly with his unique sound and aesthetic. He recently released a  music video for his song “Pain”- Ft. Kaash Rick. His new project “Proud Mexican” will be dropping on all platforms soon. We got the chance to sit down and talk with the upcoming artist. Check out the interview below.

–Start of interview–

Tell us about your background, what have you gotten to where you are today?

When I was 7 or 8 years old I would always sing, and I never knew I would be a rapper until about two years ago in high school, there was a guy that rapped that told me I should try out music. That being said that same day I wrote the song and the next day I was in the studio. I posted a snipet of it and I started to gain attention so I continued building and staying hungry ever sense.

Where are you from?

Louisville, Kentucky.

When did you start music?

Sophmore year of high school.

How did you get into music?

A rapper said I should.

What is the most challenging thing you have overcome in your life?

Being afraid of the dark, I was so afraid no matter what.

Are you currently signed or independent?

Currently independent.

Who inspires you the most musically?

MB Nel. 

What do you want people to take away after listening to your music?

I just want to entertain and use my talent to make people happy.

Any new music coming out soon?

My new project will be called “Proud Mexican”.

What is your greatest achievement as a musician?

Being Moneymadejrr.

Do you produce your own music? If not who do you work with?

I work with my producer Tay Beats.

Who is one artist you wish you could work with?

I really want to work with MB Nel. I think we could make an amazing song together.

Tell us about any new music you have coming out? When is coming out? What is it about?

My next project “Proud Mexican” is about how everyone should be the same and not discriminate. Released end of November.

What does a day inside your shoes look like?

Wake up and go to the studio. I’m always in the studio making new songs.

Anything else you want the audience to know about you?

I’m a very funny guy.
