Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms with over 1 billion active users. Influencers are particularly popular on Instagram, and many of them have millions of authentic Instagram followers

In this post we will look at some of the most followed influencers on Instagram including Selena Gomez, Kylie Jenner and Ariana Grande.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez is the most followed influencer on Instagram. She has over 160 million followers and is an actress, singer, and activist best known for her roles in Wizards of Waverly Place and Spring Breakers.

Selena was born in Grand Prairie Texas but grew up in Southern California. She began acting at a young age appearing on Barney & Friends as well as several Disney Channel shows before getting her big break at the age of 15 when she landed the lead role of Alex Russo on Wizards Of Waverly Place which aired from 2007-2012. Selena then went on to star opposite James Franco in Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers where she played Faith; an innocent girl who gets caught up with gangsters after traveling to Florida with her friends (played by Vanessa Hudgens).

Following this success Selena has continued to act while also releasing music under her own label Hollywood Records (formerly Universal Music Group). Her debut album Stars Dance reached number one on both Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart as well as Canadian Albums Chart while its lead single “Come & Get It” peaked at number three worldwide including being certified quadruple platinum by RIAA

Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner is one of the most followed influencers on Instagram. She has over 110 million followers and was the youngest person to ever reach one billion likes on a photo. Kylie is also a model, socialite, television personality and entrepreneur who has been on Keeping Up with the Kardashians since 2007. In addition to her own cosmetics line and clothing line she also owns an app called “Kylie Shop” where she sells her clothing line as well as other items like home decor and jewelry lines created by other designers.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She has an estimated net worth of $100 million. She is the youngest artist to have seven consecutive number one albums on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and the first artist born in the 1990s to have a number one single in America (with “7 Rings”).

Grande began her career acting in Broadway musicals with roles including playing Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon’s Victorious from 2009 until 2013; this was followed by roles in other television series such as Sam & Cat and Scream Queens.[5] She also played the title role in Manchester City Wives from 2015 until 2016.[6] In 2019 she starred as Jane Porter in The Legend of Tarzan,[7] which was her first major role in a feature film since 2010.[8]

Grande rose to prominence with her debut single “The Way” (2014), which reached number 10 on Billboard Hot 100 chart[9]. Her second studio album My Everything (2014) debuted at number one on US Billboard 200 earning platinum certification from RIAA for selling 1 million copies within its first week of release[10]. Its lead single “Problem”, featuring Iggy Azalea, peaked at number two on US Billboard Hot 100 chart[11]. With material from both albums being certified platinum by RIAA,[12][13] Grande became youngest artist ever whose first two albums sold over one million copies each within five months after their release date[14].

Kim Kardashian West

Kim Kardashian West is a socialite and businesswoman who has her own clothing line, perfume line, and mobile app. She’s married to Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian West has been the most followed person on Instagram since December 2017 when she overtook Selena Gomez for the top spot.

Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce is an American singer, songwriter, and actress who has been one of the most successful female artists in the history of popular music. She has sold over 100 million records worldwide and won 22 Grammy Awards. Knowles began her career in 1990 as lead singer of R&B girl group Destiny’s Child, which released several hit songs including “No No No”, “Say My Name”, “Bootylicious” and “Soldier”. After disbanding in 2005, Knowles released her first solo album Dangerously in Love (2003), which saw a return to prominence for her on international music charts with its singles such as Crazy in Love featuring Jay-Z or Work It Out featuring Sean Paul. Her second solo album B’Day (2006) reached number one on U.S. Billboard 200 chart while topping UK Albums Chart as well; it spawned five singles including Diva which reached number one on U.S Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for 12 weeks straight making it longest running number one single by any artist since 1985 when Janet Jackson’s Control topped both these charts simultaneously at 17 weeks total duration each week before being dethroned by Whitney Houston’s Didn’t We Almost Have It All?

Taylor Swift is an American singer-songwriter who has been active since 2006. She is the youngest artist to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, and she has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner is a model and reality television star who is the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan. She has a net worth of $22 million, which she earned through her modeling career, endorsements and appearances on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The 21-year-old model has been hard at work building her social media presence over the past few years; her Instagram account alone boasts over 90 million followers (and counting). She also has accounts on Twitter and Snapchat where she shares photos from her daily life as well as videos about fashion tips or how to style different hair colors like purple or pink.

Justin Bieber

Justin Drew Bieber is a Canadian singer and songwriter. He was born on March 1, 1994 in London, Ontario and raised in Stratford, Ontario by his mother Pattie Mallette. He gained popularity through posting cover songs on YouTube when he was 12 years old and signed to RBMG Records at the age of 13. Selena Gomez is the most followed influencer on Instagram, with a whopping 130 million followers. In second place comes Kylie Jenner with 118 million followers, followed by Ariana Grande (114 million), Kim Kardashian West (107 million), Beyonce Knowles (105 million), Taylor Swift (92 million) and Kendall Jenner (82 million). Justin Bieber rounds out the top ten with 71 million followers.
