Multi-talented Artist Cory Mack: Making Waves in Music, Fashion, and Acting

St. Louis-based artist Cory Mack is a rising star in the music industry, known for his unique blend of singing and rapping over meticulously curated beats. But his talents don’t stop there – he’s also a fashion designer and aspiring actor. In a recent interview, Mack shared his journey and aspirations, as well as some insights into his creative process.
Mack started his music career after dropping out of St. Louis University in 2015. Since then, he’s been making waves with his innovative approach to music and fashion. His ultimate goal? “To set the tone, uphold excellence, and make history,” he says.
One of Mack’s proudest accomplishments to date has been receiving the stamp of approval from some well-established artists. But getting to this point wasn’t easy. “Finding my sound was definitely the hardest obstacle to overcome,” Mack admits.
So what can listeners expect from Mack’s music? “I want people to take away the fact that I’m in a class of my own and a rare gem,” he says. And he’s got some new music on the way – he’s set to drop an EP on Soundcloud soon.
Mack also has some dream collaborations in mind. “I want to work with Drake, Jay Z, and Larry June,” he shares. And while he’s currently an independent artist, Mack’s sights are set high.
When it comes to inspiration, Mack looks up to multitalented artist Pharrell. “He raps, sings, and designs,” Mack says. “That’s what I want to do.”
So what does a typical day look like for this multi-talented artist? “My days vary,” Mack says. “I attend online college classes and work nights over the weekend. During the week, I wake up early to shower and eat, then trade the markets. Next, I sit at my midi keyboard and make a beat to record over. I’ll eat lunch then I play a little GTA5 on my laptop with the PS5 controller. Next, I write some music and hop in the studio. Then I’ll eat dinner and head to acting classes.”
But for Mack, it’s all about expressing himself through his art. “Art is an expression,” he says. “We need to stop allowing rappers to fall victim to their own lyrics in a court of law. The writers of Spongebob aren’t really sea creatures living under the sea.“
With his innovative approach and dedication to his craft, there’s no doubt that Cory Mack is one to watch in the music industry. Keep an eye out for his upcoming EP and future collaborations – he’s sure to make waves.
