From a very young age, Jovee “Benji” Benjaminz has had a heavy musical influence in his life. He grew up around older brothers who used to rap, which allowed him to easily pick it up. Through the years, he has consistently improved in all aspects of his music to perfect his unique sound. Jovee has worked hard to get to the position that he is in and continues the race to the top. 

Seeing Dreams Come True

Jovee is using his music to create a life that he’s dreamed of having ever since he was young. Growing up in Hartford, Connecticut, where there aren’t many opportunities in the music industry, he had to put in the work to prove the doubters wrong. Instead of staying in an environment with little room for growth, Jovee packed his bags and currently resides in LA, where the opportunities are endless. He believes that everyone should “chase the bag” and make the moves necessary to get you to where you want to go. He hopes to inspire anyone that streams his music and get them to take their life to the next level.

Overcoming Challenges

He hasn’t always been in the position that he is now. Jovee grew up facing constant struggles from every day hate to trouble with the law. Battling through these setbacks has made him into the artist he is today and reassures him that he can never go back to his old life.

Constantly juggling priorities between being in the studio, making business moves, or being with family, Jovee finds time to be his most valuable resource. Whether it be perfecting his smooth, addicting flow or taking calls for his next big business move, he’s consistently busy. He knows all the long days and nights will pay off in the long run. You need to make short term sacrifices for long term gain, and Jovee is the perfect example of someone who’s fully invested in doing whatever it takes to get to where he wants to be.

With years of experience and grinding under his belt, Jovee expects to make big moves as 2020 begins to wrap up. Anticipation builds as he puts the finishing touches on his new EP, “B.E.N.J.I.” A constant desire to be the best fuels Jovee as he propels his career to the next level.
