Nidia Guzman: Going Above and Beyond in Real Estate

Nidia Guzman is “disrupting” the real estate industry by putting customers front and center, ensuring that the houses she sells will become the home of her clients’ dreams.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Guzman has been a realtor since 2005. Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Guzman arrived in the United States 18 years ago, where she first settled in Miami, Florida. In Miami, Guzman first worked with private yachts, recalling that they felt similar to “floating houses.” Realizing that she loved selling things that made people happy, her interest in real estate started to grow. After relocating to Atlanta, she has become a highly-rated real estate agent within the city who is here to serve the community and help the people.

Guzman realized the importance of incorporating her own modern and minimalist interior design vision into the houses she sells to offer a better quality service. She grasped early on how much assistance clients needed when it came to the individual details as her clients would inquire for suggestions regarding what doorknobs to use or what type of flooring to install. From this realization, Guzman goes beyond the duties of the typical real estate agent by helping her clients through each step of the house planning process.

The real estate agent says that making her clients’ dreams come true is her principal motivation. Even if she finds herself with clients who have no vision or clients who have a vision but can’t find the perfect house, her experience allows her to help create anything. For instance, Guzman recently had a client who had a good idea of what features they wanted out of their home but could not find the perfect house to fulfill their requirements. Guzman took it upon herself to build the house from scratch and went on to search for a property lot, architect, engineers, and to create the house plans. This project not only proved to be successful, but it also increased Guzman’s clientele base.

Guzman loves making dreams come true for others, but most importantly, her own dream project is to build luxury-style homes that are not only accessible but can also create a community for families to thrive. Most importantly though, throughout her projects, the real estate agent loves adding a personal touch of Nidia Guzman as the cherry on top. From doing such, she is able to create dream houses that truly prove that home is where the heart is.
