On The Rise Artist Yalee Releases New Music

Independent artist Yalee is taking over the music scene by storm. He comes with a diverse soul pop and hood sound in a gospel aspect.

Yalee is a new artist and has not performed at any shows yet but hopes to do so in the future, he has no recent collaborations with other artists but is open to in the future. He is a completely new sound that will impact everyone. He is working on a four song EP which you should look out for, this will highlight his diverse and unique sound.

A little more about Yalee, when asked where he grew up and where he was raised he answered with “I’m originally from Dayton Ohio and when my mom got married to my stepdad, we moved to Texas then I move back to Dayton then I left home at 18 and moved to Jersey and that’s where I became a man and just went through the struggles and obstacles, and just dealing with certain people in situations, while trying to chase my dreams. I even lived out of my car for six months, then I lived in a room with no windows in Newark New Jersey then I moved back to living in my car then I started living in a trap house then I recorded a song called Pretty Girl Dance that was doing really well with Fetty Wap.”

“Then I met these cool white dudes that were promoters that were always going to New York and they wanted to book me for party bus/clubs and so then girls started knowing all the words to my songs and then one day one of the promoters was about to go drop me off back at home when I was living in the house with no windows, and he saw it so he asked his dad if I could move in with them and he’s now one of my best friends and then after the pandemic, I move to LA”

When asked what is his passion for music and when did he initially start “Music was safe, like I knew I wouldn’t get injured, I knew I couldn’t really get into no trouble so I took this route and I don’t know when I started to make music but I use to sing in the choir when I was a kid my mom was a gospel singer so it just elevated from there” He also writes all of his music.
