Rae Davenport Shares 2 Signs Most People Ignore When It’s Time to Up-Level Themselves

Ignoring signs is almost as bad as when you know you’re in an abusive relationship but you ignore what’s going on. People from the outside can see it, you see it… but you also don’t think much of it.

The fact is that if you ignore what’s going on in your life chances are it’s only going to get worse unless you take charge and take action.

That’s why in this article we’ve interviewed Rae Davenport who has an undeniable passion to help others. She has always found herself being a listening ear, a supportive shoulder, or giving an encouraging word to someone in their time of need. She believes in speaking life to those who may have a hard time seeing just how valuable they really are.

Here are 2 signs she mentions people should not ignore and when you notice them, you need to take immediate action.

No Desire To Do Things You Love

As you evolve through time you’ll notice that you no longer do the things that you used to love to do. This is a major sign that you’re in desperate need of change.

Change can only come from you and you only. You won’t enjoy the places you used to, you won’t find the pleasurable feelings that you use to get and usually, you’ll notice you can’t get satisfied by anything anymore.

In some instances, you won’t even want to go to certain places and no longer want to be attached to a certain person as well. The only thing you can desire when you’re in this state is change because nothing else will fill that void. This is when you need to up-level your life.

Losing Yourself

A big sign that you need to do something else in your life is when you feel like you’re losing yourself. When you know there’s a strong disconnect between who you are and who you’re destined to be. You don’t recognize yourself when you look in the mirror because you’re living a life that others want you to live instead of the life that makes you happy.

Rae mentions how you wake up dreading the day because you’re losing grasp on who you are. You don’t know if you’re functioning at times and most of the time you’re super close to being on fumes. When you lose yourself you feel stuck, lost, confused, and don’t know what the right thing is. It’s mental and very physical paralysis.

She says you feel like you’re losing your power to control yourself, but if there’s anything good with losing yourself, it’s the awareness that you want more. It’s the awareness of what you don’t like in life. It’s the awareness of what you truly desire out of life.

By being aware, you’re halfway there to solving the problem. The rest is just taking action in making sure you get out of the cycle you’re in so that you can continue to be bold and brave.
