Real Estate

Revealed: 5 Tips by Afroditi Krozos Aguilar on Scaling in Real Estate

Did you know that real estate has made the most millionaires than any other industry? However, many real estate agents are still struggling with how to grow their business. Many courses have claimed to turn real estate agents into seven-figure income and achieve every realtor’s dream of scaling. But the big question is, how many of those courses deliver on their promises?

Afroditi Krozos Aguilar is a real estate professional helping others grow in the industry. She specializes in the San Diego area dealing with sellers, buyers, foreclosures, short sales, and VA relocation specialists. Through customer service, training, teamwork, and a strong mindset, Afroditi has managed to satisfy all of her clients by going the extra mile every time.

The following are Afroditi’s tips that can help you scale like a pro in the real estate industry.

  • Client Care/Service

Whether a seasoned vet or a rookie investor, the aim of client care/service in real estate is to ensure customers leave happy and while keeping them coming back for more. Client care is the number one focus that Afroditi recommends. It is the number one driver in their team- from the initial call to the two-year follow-up. Afroditi and her team are in a transactional world creating relationships, leaving all parties happy and satisfied.

If done correctly, having solid customer service will assure that your customers are able to build trust with your company. This will also help your company keep a positive reputation, enhance brand loyalty and produce real estate referrals.

  • Strong Leadership

Afroditi has shown strong leadership and business skills in her business. As the COO and a team leader at Dean Aguilar Group, Afroditi has based its culture on clear communication, making it easy to lead. Once everyone knows all of the expectations, there are no surprises.

Afroditi also exalts transparency in her leadership style. Even when she makes mistakes herself, she ensures that they talk through it and use it as a learning lesson when mistakes are made. Strong leadership boosts morale, provides effective communication, motivates employees, and implements visions and values.

  • Training

Training and development are key elements to success in any organization. Afroditi does one on one and group training. Her company has a mentor program and has created a culture of support and success. Training provides the trainees with the most excellent practices for utilizing their time effectively. It helps them manage their time adequately and organize their day so that their work is productive. A productive day gives agents time to meet with customers and focus on closings.

  • Teamwork

Afroditi has learned a lot from team building. In her journey to build a team, she has made many mistakes, and many times she had to start over.

Together with her team of 30 agents, they have created the ideal environment for growth and success. Afroditi has a target of at least 50 agents by the end of 2021.

Working as a team will ensure that you keep your emotions and ego out of all situations. In doing so, you will be able to bring in more revenue. You will also experience a better work balance. Teamwork will also ensure expense reduction and increased productivity.

  • Mindset

Success lies in mind. Once you choose to change your mind and believe that you can be successful, you will succeed. A changed mindset will view calculated risk as a good thing. Developing a stronger mindset will lead to your beliefs, leading to your actions, and, finally, your results.

The current market requires you to have thick skin. You will find the dream home multiple times. Therefore you need to be resilient. For Afroditi to get to where she is now, she had to make a big shift in her mindset. She learned to shut up and listen until it was her time to speak. She never tried to be what she was not, but instead chose to be her true authentic voice and not the perception that everyone else was expecting. She also decided to surround herself with supporters and people who would build her up. She chose to focus on her growth, passionately. What was even most amazing is how she understood that success comes from the people you teach and not just your efforts.

Conclusion

Do you want to scale? Have good client service, show strong leadership, have a team with one focus and purpose, invest in training, and have a changed mindset.
