Richard Wolper Lists Things to Do in Park City, Utah, During the Summer

Park City may be best known for the Canyons Resort, the largest ski resort in the nation. However, the area also offers plenty, even when it’s not winter. Richard Wolper, CEO of Mark 25 Homes, is so enthused about the area that he built luxury condos throughout the Park City area. He offers enthusiastic advice for anyone who wants to check out the sights during the warm spring and summer months.

Richard Wolper says that Park City is the place to be for anyone who enjoys active outdoor activities. The Wasatch Mountains provide plenty of hiking, biking, water sports, river and lake activities including fishing and boating as well as climbing opportunities. There is also plenty of wildlife to see during the warm summer months. Local wildlife includes bobcats, mountain lions, deer, elk, moose, golden eagles, and wild turkeys. The Canyons Golf Course next to the Residences at Blackstone is the perfect place for those who want to improve their game independently or with friends or family. Utah Olympic Park offers unforgettable sports opportunities, including treetop obstacle courses and zip lines.

Anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature’s beauty will likely appreciate a drive down the Guardsman Pass Scenic Backway. The area is well-known for its natural beauty, and there are plenty of spots along the road to stop, relax, take pictures, and explore. It’s an excellent drive for those traveling alone and with kids. Other family-friendly activities include playing at the Utah Olympic Park and taking a Swaner Preserve and Eco Center tour. Older kids would enjoy the local escape room and the many adventures it has to offer.  There is also the nearby Jordanelle State Park (20 minute drive from downtown), which offers camping, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, hiking and other activities.

History lovers will likely appreciate a bike tour. There is a historical tour that also showcases urban art. It winds through the city while a tour guide explains the fascinating history of the local area. The tour has earned rave reviews from visitors of all ages and walks of life. There are also some great restaurants in the downtown area. Ethnic cuisines, steak, vegetarian fare, pizzas, and burgers are all available at various eateries. Richard Wolper also has a highly regarded restaurant called the Overlook at the Black Rock Mountain Resort just minutes from downtown.  The Sundance Institute in Park City offers free outdoor film screenings every summer. A nearby Olympic museum offers tours hosted by Olympic competitors. The city’s Park Silly Sunday Market, open during the summer on the weekends, is another excellent spot to visit. Vendors offer food, art, antiques, and many other products. Chefs and artists frequently give free demonstrations.

Richard Wolper strongly encourages anyone who enjoys nature’s beauty, great amenities, and friendly neighbors to check out Park City. The area is ideal for living, and Mark 25’s luxury condos make it just about perfect. While the area is best known for its winter attractions, there is plenty to do during the spring and summer. Shopping opportunities, outdoor sports, historical tours, free film screenings, great food and beverages, and much more make this a great place to live and work.
