The Secret To Saving Your Business Amidst Covid19, Ross Jenkins at DigitalME

Millions of dollars are being spent in ways that no one could have predicted 12 months ago. Working from home newbies are turning their walk-in closets into office spaces while companies selling gym equipment can’t keep up with the increasing demand in the exercise gear. Meanwhile small business owners that just invested into a course on ‘How to create a webpage in 5 simple steps’ are asking for a refund because they’re not getting any leads.

Push new boundaries

You’ve got two options in this dramatically changing market if you want to save your business. You can cut your costs and even get some funding to win more time while waiting for the storm to pass, which, let’s be honest, is rather unrealistic unless you’re selling a jasmine hand sanitizer. However, you could also push your boundaries and absolutely transform your business by automating it.

My name is Ross Jenkins. I’m the founder of the marketing agency DigitalME and for the last 10 years I’ve been doing exactly what every business needs today if you want to still be around during and post the global pandemic. Continue reading this if you can’t get your head around your social media strategy, email marketing and PPC.

Adapt to save your business

Let’s look at your favorite gym. If you don’t workout think of such services as dance, cooking or language classes. Due to Covid19 gyms around the world were forced to close. In some parts of the world this could have lasted for three months or even longer.

Everyone was told to tighten their belts, so you can only imagine how many have cancelled their gym passes. A lot of people won’t be renewing their memberships, because they don’t feel safe anymore in that environment, while others have adjusted to working out at home.

However, some gyms adapted by automating their services. They introduced group and one to one workout sessions online, created an irresistible dream abs at home freebie, which they pushed all across social media. As a result, that helped them to build an email list fast. They used that email list to pre-sell meal plans and 30-day magic fat burn packages, which they then put into a membership site and now they’re making money in their sleep.

Stop trying to DIY business automation

Yes, that’s not rocket science and you know all about it. And you might have even attempted to automate your business yourself. However, there’s a massive difference between knowing how to do something and making it work, so it brings you quality leads 24/7.

One thing that I hear from my clients over and over is that they wish they came to me earlier instead of trying to figure out CRM platforms, ActiveCampaign and Infusionsoft themselves.

One of the reasons I’ve started my marketing agency DigitalME is because I wanted to reshape the B2C and B2B markets. Today I have a team of experts working with me that are involved through the whole process of taking your company online and making sure you’re ready to trade and serve your customers whether there’s a second wave of Covid19 or not.
