S2, E19 The Best of 2019 | A Look Back Into Exclusive Business Tips From 2019

It is not the easiest of jobs to be an entrepreneur and have a boss mentality. Working for yourself won’t start paying off until much later, and in the meantime it is all hard-work and staying on that grind. As an entrepreneur you always need to bring your A- game. The old-world view that you can just jump into starting your own business and figure it out as you go along isn’t working as many women had hoped. Lately we have been promised that entrepreneurism is the yellow brick road to freedom. abundance and living our purpose while making a living. We know that it will require a LOT of work. A LOT OF WORK!!! But the work is driven by you and in the end, you know all the hours, sweat and tears combined provides the amazing results and ultimately gives meaning to your life. This type of purpose-driven work is much more gratifying than working forty hours a week for someone else and their dreams, THAT’S FOR SURE! However, as we navigate the unfamiliar territory of launching and growing a business, we (millennial female entrepreneurs) need examples of women that speak to us and our unique challenges. Women who are taking risks, learning as they go, raising funds, working from home, finding advisors, working with mentors, integrating family and friends while pursuing a business and life that ignites a deep-seeded passion that cannot be ignored! And these are the women that make up What Makes A Woman show! With a plethora of women launching businesses, we cannot only have a few women to draw from as examples! As for me, looking back at 2019, I learned that I LOVE learning and conversing with women that have turned their passion into their careers! I LOVE being an advocate of women entrepreneurs and the voice of Millennial females because I truly believe that we are the RISING STARS that will turn the current state of the world around. As you finish the year strong, listen to the BEST OF 2019 from What Makes A Woman and take some time to look back on some of the most powerful statements made by female rockstars who are breaking their glass ceilings – Just like YOU and I! HAPPY NEW YEAR Everyone! Liana Zavo @ladyzavotv DON’T FORGET TO VOTE FOR ME ON JANUARY 14TH @2PM TO BE ON THE COVER OF JETSET MAGAZINE AND DONATE TO AN AMAZING CAUSE THE B FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN.
