Sales- A Skillset That Has Withstood The Test Of Time Says Successful CEO Baaz Virk

We all know that sales have always been around, from the beginning of time. Human beings have always needed to trade and sell what they have for other things that they need. It has just always been the way of the world, an endless give and takes. Nowadays the world of sales is filled with people hungry to make it into the top 1% that makes it big enough to withstand the test of time. 

Baaz Virk represents that 1%. Mr. Baaz started selling cars and has now been in sales for 15+ years; owning and running his very own, successful sales agency called Elite-Closers. 

What would you say was the biggest obstacle for you within this career path?

The biggest obstacle for me was time. I’ve been in sales for 15+ years now but had I gotten myself a mentor early on, I would’ve accomplished ten times more within half the time. This is an extensive amount of time that I will never get back, and time is the ultimate currency in my book. Another big challenge was getting back into sales after being away for 2-1⁄2 years, but surprisingly it didn’t take long for me to not only get back into the swing of things but also go above and beyond my previous records. 

What would you say is proof that sales is the career path to pursue?

I have multiple clients that reached out, who were previously making anywhere from $0-$5k a month, who are now hitting $20k a month in commissions, and all happened within 45-60 days. A life-changing moment in my sales career was switching to remote high-ticket sales. Being able to earn 2x-5x what I was earning offline from the comfort of my home (or anywhere else in the world), created such a shift in my mindset, opening my eyes to what was possible in today’s day and age. 

What advice/perspective would you give people considering the sales industry 

Although my clients are making $10k, $20k, $30k, and some even $40k a month, it is hard work. There are multiple skills that you need to have to make it to the top 1% of closers in the world. Skills like advanced sales frameworks, handling objections, being able to have your own flow of inbound leads, persuasively articulating yourself, having your lead-generation system, having prospects and companies chasing you, having your appointment setting infrastructure, building a small team underneath you to scale your commissions, and so much more.  

What final message would you want to give people who want to get into sales or are looking to work with someone like you?

Sales is the ultimate way to go! It is important to stress that anyone that comes to work with us, gets guaranteed job placement in a $100k/yr+ sales role or sales job. As part of the team, it is important to note that you would get to handle the company’s internal accounts once you are fully trained, allowing you to earn $110k-$300k/yr.
