Sobia A. Shaikh’s impeccable fashion style is winning over San Francisco

Sobia A. Shaikh is a well-known Influencer, Content Creator, and Lifestyle blogger. She currently resides in San Francisco. However, before moving permanently to San Francisco in 1997, she used to live in Karachi, Pakistan after which she moved to London. Talking about her educational background, she pursued a bachelor in Advertising. After completing her studies, she worked for Young & Rubicam for more than 6 years. Sobia Shaikh is undoubtedly the most fashionable woman in San Francisco. She makes sure to show off her trendy style statement anywhere she goes, be it at a high-profile gala or a private dinner party with friends. Her style is diverse and it varies as per the occasion. For instance, she could be wearing an Oscar De La Renta gown or a letterman jacket with black jeans, a white shirt and a black tie. However, she can ace both the contrasting outfits.

Sobia is a person who can make the most unconventional pieces look absolutely fashionable with her sense of aesthetic. For example, can you imagine anyone wearing red Isabel Marant track pants and pink Gucci loafers? Sobia did not only pair these pieces together but carried off the outfit like a pro.

“Cledgy”- this is the term used by Sobia to describe her fashion sense. It is a made-up word that combines classic and edgy. She enjoys dressing for herself as well as her best friends, namely Sonya Molodetskaya, and Mary Beth Shimmon. They too are ardent followers of fashionable outlook.

“Most of my Instagram followers are women. I am so shocked at how many people write to me through DM and they ask me for my advice, in terms of travel, in terms of fashion. I try and respond to each one because if they’re looking to me for inspiration … I’m happy to dispense any advice I can”, said Sobia.

On being asked about her favourite clothing piece, Sobia claimed it to be an old black and white dress designed by Fausto Puglisi. Apparently, she got to know about the designer at Luisa Via Roma, which is a well-established store in Florence. She described the dress by saying, “There’s something so sexy and yet cute and girly about it and feminine.” She loves to wear it and already wore it to New York Fashion Week and Fine Arts Museums’ annual Mid-Winter Gala.
