Take Control of Your Health and Understand CBD Safety Better

Many CBD products and producers have touted the health benefits of their products, but the abundance of options on the market offering seemingly contradictory guidance has confused some consumers. Thankfully, some hemp oil producers have stepped forward to push the industry towards more transparent and healthy CBD products by helping consumers understand their production process.

Unfortunately, the lack of FDA regulation of CBD products has resulted in a market where the CBD products available to consumers are not always held to the highest standards. Although that isn’t to say that the products available are unsafe, consumers must realize that all CBD products are not the same. Consumers must be deliberate about researching the CBD products they purchase to ensure they are of the highest quality.

For example, you need to take into consideration that the majority of CBD vapes on the market are made up of an artificial combination of isolates, fake terpenes and flavorings, and MCT oil, all of which are not true to how the plant is found in nature. These products produce unpleasant effects when compared to vapes that capture the genuine profile of the cannabis plant.

This is why you need to look for top notch vaporizers which will actually provide health benefits. For example, Secret Nature’s CBD vapes contain a wide array of beneficial cannabinoids, including CBD, CBDV, CBDVA, CBG, CBN, CBC, THC, and over 17 cannabis-derived terpenes like myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene, pinene, linalool, geraniol, and more. Remember that CBD oil is vaporized by heating it to a degree where all the beneficial compounds are released without combusting the oil and turning it into smoke. The best way to vape CBD oil is by using pre-set cartridges and batteries which are specifically designed to vaporize CBD oil to the optimal temperature for a smooth inhalation. Most cannabis vaporizer devices are calibrated explicitly for cannabis oils only, so you need to avoid using standard electronic cigarettes used for nicotine products and vape juice, as these devices will not provide the best user experience.

Why CBD oil quality is important

Many commercial CBD products contain impurities that can cause serious side effects, such as vomiting, high blood pressure, and hallucinations. Although there are many potential health benefits to using CBD products like regulating the central nervous system, the heavy metals, solvents, and harmful toxic chemicals present in many commercial CBD products effectively counteract the possible positive effects. As such, consumers should look for pure CBD oil products.

One CBD product producer, Nesas Hemp, prides itself on providing CBD oil that is not only pure but what they call “Beyond Organic.” According to founder Inesa Ponomariovaite, “We call our products ‘Beyond Organic’ because we don’t settle for traditional organic certification — we strive for even higher standards. From soil to seed to bottle, we hold our products to the most rigorous standards of quality and purity.”

How to ensure the purity and quality of CBD oil

To ensure this quality, Nesas Hemp partners with testing facilities that use the highest level of precision to test for any impurities and chemicals that may be present in the product, as well as verify that the level of CBD reported on the label is accurate. “Holding the rest of the industry accountable to the same level of stringent testing we subject our products to would greatly increase the transparency of the CBD industry,” Ponomariovaite asserts. “To make CBD safer for consumers, we must have this greater accountability among producers.”

One thing that can make a safer CBD product stand out is if it is produced using “living hemp.” Compared to a majority of plain CBD oils, which are extracted from dead hemp plants, a “living hemp” product uses the whole plant and keeps it alive during the entire extraction process. As a result, the oils produced through extraction contain all of the vital compounds found naturally in the hemp plant, allowing it to work on a cellular level and support the body’s natural healing process.

A cold extraction process further preserves the natural molecular structure of the hemp plant. This allows the pure CBD oil produced to be full of healthy fats, vitamins, naturally-occurring CBDa, and beneficial phytonutrients. These compounds give the oil its potential health benefits, such as restoring cellular balance and promoting rest and rejuvenation.

The most integral compound preserved as a part of the cold extraction process is cannabinoid acid — better known as CBDa. Compared to standard CBD, CBDa can have 1,000 times the potency and be up to 11 times more effective when taken orally. CBDa can only be found in high concentrations in CBD oil products that have gone through a cold-pressing process, as CBDa is the raw, unheated precursor of CBD — and the use of a heated extraction process can significantly reduce the levels of CBDa in a product.

Consumers can easily get distracted by buzzwords like “organic” and “full-spectrum” on the CBD products they purchase. Still, unless they understand what those terms actually entail, their implications on the product’s quality are meaningless. High-quality CBD product producers like Nesas Hemp are paving the way for a CBD industry that is much safer for consumers and allows them to take control of their health using pure CBD oils.
