Philadelphia’s Leslie A. Jones, also known as Mister Jones, has crafted a multifaceted career spanning from military service to the stages of Los Angeles. His academic pursuits in theater and film at The Wilshire Theater Arts Academy catapulted him into the limelight with his first theatrical role in “Indigo Blues,” earning him acclaim as a saxophonist, composer, and actor, alongside prestigious accolades like the Los Angeles Weekly Award and the Drama Logue Award for Best Original Music.
Jones’s talent secured him the N.A.A.C.P. Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1993, followed by notable appearances in TV sitcoms, including the role of henchman Ronnie on “Beverly Hills 90210.” A versatile musician, Jones showcases his prowess on sax, flute, percussion, and vocals with various LA bands, The “G” Money Band, and his own creations, Thee Answer and Right-Hand Rule Band.
