The Perfect Platinum Pixie: Brandon “Uno” Williams’s Solution for Something New for Women

While most people associate haircuts or changes in hairstyles as responses to significant events, there can be occasions when people are only looking to change their looks. More than men, women get excited when deciding which new style to throw on their heads. However, the options tend to be very limited, especially for women of color. Looking to provide them with something new, Atlanta-based powerhouse Brandon “Uno” Williams has conjured one of the most eye-catching styles in recent years, the Perfect Platinum Pixie.

A renowned hairstylist, creator, and innovator from St. Louis, Missouri, Brandon “Uno” Williams is an accomplished individual in the cosmetology industry. With two decades in the business, Uno has played a significant role in advancing the industry from the comforts of his establishment, Hair By Uno Studio Salon. Despite his hectic schedule, Uno always finds the time to split his availability between laying edges at his salon and educating fellow hairstylists, both new and seasoned, on coloring, precision-cutting, styling, and business growth. However, Uno’s crowning glory is his development of the patent-pending Perfect Platinum Pixie technique.

“It has always been said that it wasn’t possible to achieve a bone-straight platinum pixie haircut on texture hair for women of color, but what I’ve achieved is a breakthrough in the industry,” said Uno. “Women of color (specifically Black women) can achieve this same-day service while still maintaining the integrity of the hair.”

Uno’s Perfect Platinum Pixie technique has been gaining so much attention that other stylists have been reaching out to ask, “How can I make this happen for my clients?” As the number of stylists increased, Uno decided to start teaching classes in 2020. Fast-forward to today, and he has helped create over two-hundred and fifty certified Perfect Platinum Pixie Specialists. They are now providing clients with a unique look in multiple cities, including a few crowning celebrities. Uno prides himself on being a supportive pillar in business for new and seasoned stylists who need mentoring in not only the Perfect Platinum Pixie technique but also developing and scaling their companies.

“Many people come to the salon wanting the same thing that everyone else has, the same style that they’ve had for years, or maybe even a look that the stylist is familiar with,” shared Uno. “I am providing a new option for both clients and stylists. Additionally, I want stylists to see that they too can increase their revenue by trying new things. This is a high-value service and can help them increase their client base as well as their prestige.”

With his career on the rise, Brandon “Uno” Williams is enthusiastic about taking his brand even further as he foresees becoming a multi-millionaire or billionaire. With the option of working behind the chair, his focus is on building generational wealth with several income streams. As a property owner and avid traveler, he can work remotely nationwide while calling the shots from his phone.
