If someone would want to emulate your career, what would you suggest are the most important things to do?

Work harder then anyone else. But especially work harder then you did yesterday. I strive daily to become a little better, do a little more, or grow a bit further then the day before. I do not have talent, I do not come from money, I wasn’t given a network or opportunity or had anything handed to me, & that is ok. You can achieve anything you want if you put your mind to it & put your head down & put in the work. Make sacrifices. Your ambitions need to be matched by your actions. If you have big goals, you shouldn’t be wasting your time watching tv, or going out partying. You need to sacrifice & put in the work.

My ultimate super power is being able to sacrifice not going for the short term pleasure to achieve my long term goals. It’s not easy, but it is possible & necessary. Aside from hard work, you need to be known. You need attention. To get attention you need to network. Your network will take you where you want to go but it requires more time then most think. Not just effort in building a network but effort to keep the relationships you have & allocate time to deepen those relationships. If you have work ethic, can sacrifice, & network, you will be able to achieve what you want, not a matter of if but when.
