Social media has changed the game for entrepreneurs. People use social media for entertainment, socializing, information, education, marketing, and business purposes all over the world. Although social media influences almost every field of life, here are some of the most effective social media platforms for young entrepreneurs.

1. LinkedIn

LinkedIn is one of the most well-reputed and oldest social media platforms for businesses and entrepreneurs. There are also special features and resources, like groups, for entrepreneurs to expand their social media presence and promote their business. LinkedIn’s “On Startups” group has more than 54000 members, which is one of the biggest startup communities present online.

2. Instagram

Instagram is a sensation for the younger generation. From celebrities to social media influencers, all different types of people use this image-sharing app to promote their ideas and themselves. Building a huge and loyal following on this platform will also help drive traffic to your other social media platforms.

3. Facebook

Facebook is one of the biggest and most powerful social media platforms. Facebook has 2.3 billion users, which is the biggest platform for marketing and promoting businesses. In 2018, Facebook reported $55 Billion in revenues, 98.5% of which comes from advertising. This shows how many businesses across the globe trust the Facebook for buying goods and services.

Apart from advertisement, entrepreneurs can use this as a brand establishment, article sharing, market awareness, joint-ventures, and much more. The possibilities on Facebook are endless.

4. Tik Tok

Tik Tok is a new sensational social media platform that everyone is talking about. It is the most downloaded app on Apple and Android stores during this calendar year. Through Tik Tok, you can introduce your product and business to a huge audience. TikTok can become the next big thing for business marketing, and you should start working on building an audience through these short viral videos.

5. Bumble Bizz

Recently launched platform Bumble Bizz provides a great opportunity to socialize with the like-minded business community. The 20 million users on the platform is a big community to make connections with. Bumble Bizz also offers exciting features like their “Pitch competition,” which offers a $5000 prize to the winner.
