Train Like a Professional Soccer Player From Anywhere In The World with RicFit

Eric Friedlander is different from your typical soccer player. He is also an enduring source of inspiration for players and fans worldwide.
The FS Leevon Saldus player, who hails from Merrick, New York, is also a high-performance coach who has worked with multiple professionals, including Pablo Sabbagg, Osaze Urhoghide, Samuel Kroon, Jamie Hopcutt, Chris Pinkham, John Hollinger, Kriakos Antoniou, Geronimo Balint, and Noah Abrams- to their highest point by polishing their training on and off the pitch. In addition, Ric has also trained and coached numerous other professionals in top leagues who wish their names not to be shared (due to a team contract and not being allowed to work with ‘coaches outside of their club’), including three players from La Liga, four from the English Championship, three from the First League in Israel, and two from the Eredivisie in Holland, to name a few.
As a professional soccer player and high-performance coach, Friedlander has a wealth of experience and knowledge that he is now using to help many young soccer players sign their first contracts.
Since starting his business, RicFit LLC, about six years ago, Friedlander has worked with around 300 clients online, who all commit to at least six months of training with him. His passion for optimizing the human body and improving performance led him to study the subject for over 13 years. Eric’s growing network of sports scientists and fitness trainers keeps him up-to-date with new insights and cutting-edge research.
Friedlander knew he needed more than great technique and ambition to become a great soccer player. But what exactly constitutes technique, game intelligence, physical fitness, and the proper mindset? After working with many trainers who claimed to have an individual-focused program, he felt they didn’t honestly care about his development as an aspiring professional. Some of them had never actually been in a soccer environment.
So, he decided to take his development into his own hands (which he encourages many footballers to do). He would soon become autonomous, not relying on the opinion of others. As a dream chaser, Eric fully respects people who refuse to conform to other people’s expectations.
“I am the coach and mentor I wish I had as an emerging player. I am sharing everything I’ve learned in all 24 years of playing the Beautiful Game and 13 years of studying performance optimization. I want to help young players avoid the same mistakes I made to reach their goals faster.”
After three years of intense work, Friedlander’s RicFit Academy App, which he launched on January 30th, 2023, is the culmination of his expertise and experience on and off the field. The app is designed to help players of all skill levels train like professional soccer players from anywhere in the world. Each week, experienced players, many of whom have been on Eric’s podcast, “How to Become a Professional Footballer,” share tips that got them to the top.
In addition, nutrition, lifestyle, and mindset tips are given to keep students healthy – physically, mentally, and spiritually. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, the app allows you to train like a professional soccer player anywhere in the world.
But what sets Friedlander apart from other soccer coaches and trainers? His obsessive work ethic, connections, and global network make him stand out. RicFit is a must-follow on social media when treating yourself like a professional on and off the field. Eric is popularly known for the videos that he posts on TikTok and YouTube. He produces new content daily that brings value to his followers and has amassed an audience of over 500,000 people across all platforms. In addition, he makes training easy for his one-on-one clients and app users, telling them, “As long as you execute on the blueprint that I’ve laid out for you consistently, I can guarantee you excellent results!”
Eric Friedlander’s ultimate goal is to help players worldwide, particularly those with hidden talent “undiscovered” by the American system. He is also an advocate for self-care. “When you prioritize self-care, relationships stay strong and healthy, which is the most important part of life,” says the footballer. From building confidence on and off the field to learning new skills, Eric empowers aspiring talents worldwide to create better futures.
According to Friedlander, “a player needs to know how to prepare, perform and recover to make the most of their training and enable them to chase their dreams.” He believes there is so much untapped potential globally and wants to allow players to develop and compete at the highest level.
With his obsessive work ethic, Friedlander plans to build the most prominent academy in Eastern Europe, helping to bring American players overseas at a much earlier age so that they can develop faster than in the United States. He aims to partner with multiple American academies to bring the “undiscovered talent” to Europe at a younger age. “I wish I went to Europe at 15 instead of 20 years old. I want to be the mentor to young players that I wish I had when I was growing up and help young players achieve their dreams,” he says.
Eric’s love for the game began at age four. Throughout his youth, Ric dreamed of suiting up at the professional level. His goal is to take his club in Latvia to European competitions, including the Europa League and Champions League. And with the RicFit Ecosystem, he hopes to create a brand that will be one of the biggest names in the football industry regarding player development.
We may see Friedlander’s vision come to fruition in a few years. Still, players can now access his expertise through the RicFit Academy App, or if they want to get more personal with him, they can apply to his one-on-one Online Coaching program, where he has limited spots and is strict on who he accepts. “I only want to work with players willing to fully commit to changing their lives on and off the pitch. The player must be disciplined and willing to do whatever it takes to reach the next level. I hold every player I work with to the same high standard that I hold myself to. I do a deep dive into their application to make sure they’re the right fit for my program. My results are my clients’ results. I don’t want to waste anyone’s time or money.” Friedlander says.
Accepted applicants of Eric Friedlander’s Personal Online Coaching are granted full access to him via email and phone. He checks in with them at least once weekly via email and at least one-two times monthly via phone.
When you sign up for the RicFit Academy app, you join a community of like-minded ambitious footballers who share a similar work ethic and want to reach their genetic potential in the beautiful game.
“There’s nothing better than putting similar-minded people on the same mission in ‘one room’ where you can talk about your wins and losses. Improving mental health awareness is constantly talked about in the football space. This is exactly where you can do it! You can share your stories and wins and losses with others who are likely in your shoes. They can help you with their experience, and most importantly, you will know that you’re not alone.” the founder says.
It’s a testament to his dedication and commitment to helping ambitious soccer players mentally and physically to reach their full potential, regardless of where they are in the world. “If you want to be successful in anything, you need to curate your environment for that success. When you are in the right environment, your success is inevitable. Many young players can’t move to the best footballing nations. Therefore, I wanted to bring that environment to them, directly to their smartphone.”
The sport is becoming more cutthroat and competitive than ever. Physical, mental, and emotional development is necessary for soccer players to succeed on and off the field.
Ric is so confident that players will love all that the app has to offer that he lets new users try it free for seven days.
So for anyone looking to take their soccer skills to the next level, working with Eric Friedlander and using the RicFit Academy App could be the key to unlocking their full potential.
