Travel Funds Kids Is The Future Of Fundraising

Since its inception in 2015, Travel Funds Kids (TFK) has been empowering community organizations and local businesses on an ongoing basis. TFK innovated the fundraising industry through its introduction of subscription-based donations. With this new approach to fundraising, organizations are able to create consistent monthly revenue and not rely on sharky investors or community budgets to be passed.
Through the Travel Funds Kids fundraiser, a portion of each donation is allocated to the participating organization and another portion is donated to one of TFK’s supported non-profit companies. In addition, Travel Funds Kids also picks a monthly organization to support by donating a portion of proceeds from its General Fundraiser.
Originally dedicated to alleviating schools of budget constraints, TFK has had a strong impact within local communities by incentivizing its supporters for donations. Supporters are encouraged to donate by subscribing to a monthly purchase of product(s) or to an affordable lifestyle club, which includes travel savings, local deals, access to exclusive events and healthcare benefits. By retaining a subscription to selected products or access to the lifestyle club, supporters are able to fund the organization of choice, consistently.
A couple of the most attractive features within the Travel Funds Kids fundraiser is its convenience and transparency. Supporters are able to subtract products or opt-out of their subscriptions completely online, without facing any additional or hidden fees. They are also able to order more products or join the lifestyle club at any point, thereby boosting the monthly donations generated for the participating organization.
The move to bring the traditional sense of a fundraiser completely online was one that founder, Ash Straughn thought best fit the everchanging and unprecedented times. The shift multiplied the impact of the fundraiser significantly by allowing schools and other organizations the ability to fundraise with TFK with minimal geographic restrictions.
“The fundraiser is a way for all schools, organizations and small businesses within local communities to obtain the funding that they need. Funding is often an overlooked subject in a consistently developing world. Teachers are severely underpaid, budgets are often cut, and students are suffering from a lack of supplies or extracurricular activities.” says Straughn.
“Business owners are struggling during these times and we’re all sitting back hoping it gets better. If we can’t improve society due to social or economic constraints, we can at least fund our communities monthly, by coming together.”
To date, Travel Funds Kids has raised over $400,000 and donated to several organizations, some of which build schools, provide better homes for children in need and rebuild disaster-stricken areas.
