Tukaos: the Spanish brand with which you can dress like the jet set of the 80s

The fashion brand acclaimed by the socialite presents its new and exclusive collection “Welcome to the Jet Set”.

Fur coats, ostentatious brocades, silk shirts and wide-legged suits, a look that could be worn by Harry Styles in one of his concerts.

Last Thursday, luxury fashion brand Tukaos launched a collection designed by Spanish National Fashion Award winner Nacho Lamar. The artist began working alongside Marcos Ronsano, the creative director of Tukaos, at the end of 2021 to design “Welcome to the Jet Set”.

Made up of more than 20 handcrafted pieces and accessories, the “Welcome to the Jet Set 22″ collection tells the story of Ciro, a young journalist invited to join the high class as a confidant. Upon receiving one of the letters of invitation from the socialite Ciro is completely transformed to fit into his new life full of wealth and luxury.

Lamar approaches with an opulent perspective the idea of recovering everyday elements “abandoned” by the magnates of the time of Gunilla von Bismarck and Jaime de Mora y Aragón with their great Marbella parties acclaimed by the press, reinterpreting the aesthetic codes of the time to achieve pieces such as the “Carpet Jacket”, the “Habano Vest” or the “Golf Cardigan”.

Continuing with the exclusive philosophy of the firm, Tukaos creates the pieces of its new collection on demand and handcrafted in small workshops in the Spanish Peninsula and using the best noble materials in the European market.

Seeing the talent and work behind the new Tukaos collection, from the editorial staff we consider that it will undoubtedly be a great change in the fashion world.
