Born in the vibrant city of Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria, Shalom’s journey to the United States at the tender age of 12 marked the first chapter in his whirlwind saga. Growing up, he was that friendly neighborhood kid who’d be seen dabbling in Tech Decks, skateboarding, and, of course, soccer. But the basketball court was where his dreams began taking shape, with the NBA’s dazzling lights beckoning him. However, life, unpredictable and full of surprises, had a different plan.

After a series of injuries and the looming shadow of a global pandemic, Shalom’s hoop dreams were derailed. He was transferred to the University of Georgia, leaving him heartbroken and facing one of life’s crossroads. This left Shalom in a state of depression and went through a year-long introspective journey. But like a phoenix, he rose from the ashes, with music and entertainment proving to be his savior.

Today, he’s not just a student at the University of Georgia. Shalom is charting a new course, discovering the charm of storytelling, and soaking in the art of performance. His recent strut down the runway at The FACES of Fashion Gala further solidifies his versatile repertoire. And, speaking of style, Shalom truly knows how to make a statement.
