What Makes Macc DaChopper a Unique Artist

Other than having talent and determination to reach the top, being unique is another element that artists in the music industry need to have for them to stay relevant among audiences. It’s also what sets them apart from the other artists who are trying to make a name for themselves.

This is why Macc DaChopper, the founder and creator of iOU (iTSONLYUS), developed a unique style that’s sure to captivate his listeners.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, Macc DaChopper is a multi-talented artist that self describes his style as having a Trap Rock vibe. He is known for his relatable music, catchy hooks, and well-known adlibs or catchphrases.

“I wanna be perceived as being the difference Columbus, Ohio needs to breakthrough to the universe. The spark that lit the flame… I’m for the people, all people. I want my society to be unique,” Macc said.

His Success Then and Now

Macc started making music to win a middle school talent show. Since then, he has been making music and began to take it seriously two years ago.

In 2019, he did over 25 shows around Ohio. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he didn’t do any shows last year.

His song “Rendezvous” received positive reviews in Columbus, Ohio with just the audio. TikTok and Instagram fans of Macc even enjoy singing the lyrics to his song.

“I also sold out merch last year. Then the ‘OLD ME’ video dropped and made a nice impression on the midwest and the views are still climbing,” he said.

He is also on Amazon Alexa. On your Amazon Alexa Device or Amazon Alexa App say, “Alexa, Open Macc DaChopper Experience.” and you’ll have an all-access insider to everything Macc DaChopper. That’s something that only a few artists have the opportunity to do. He was even interviewed by someone who worked on Amazon. The experience still amazes him up to this date.

Working On New Projects

In the coming year, Macc is working on his latest EP called “Person of Interest” which is doing well on Spotify.

But aside from that, the unique artist is also focusing on staying on the market by maintaining a presence on blogs and making exclusive content.

However, Macc also did just drop a new song titled Devil Wears Prada, which is available now on all platforms, along with a freestyle  titled “Dripping Juice” exclusive on SoundCloud.

Being A Student of the Craft

As he makes his way to becoming a unique, successful artist, Macc has learned how to become a good student of the game while also doing good business. But most of all, he has realized the value of patience.

He also advises others who want to become artists in the future with their own unique style to focus on their relationships with their fans and partners as well as being consistent in releasing material because these are what led him to the success that he has now.
