Steven Snider was someone who used to get bored easily by the tasks that he was partaking in. This led him to try many different kinds of things, but none ever were successful. That is until he started Motivated Mindset in high school. That is when everything changed for Steven.
“Ever since I was a kid I can remember not knowing what I wanted to do for a living when I was older. I would try something out for a few months, get bored and move on to something else. When I started Motivated Mindset in high school, it was the only thing that seemed to stick with me. After a couple years, it had grown to a couple hundred thousand followers and that’s when I realized I was on to something. I had several full time jobs throughout my teenage years while I was growing Motivated Mindset, but nothing was as fulfilling to me as growing the brand. That’s when I decided to quit my full time job and focus solely on the brand. Since then, I’ve grown & sold Motivated Mindset to my business partner Can, and together we have built other successful brands such as Tactical Pro Supply & The Vegan Vibes,” Steven details.
Now, Steven & Can are entrepreneurs who run multiple e-commerce businesses which sell on multiple platforms. They were able to grow their businesses because they saw an opportunity to help people and had created the right mindset to achieve in their businesses
“We saw opportunities to provide value to different groups of people by creating quality products that they can feel proud to use in their everyday lives while also supporting good causes.
Mindset is everything. If you don’t believe in yourself and your product/service you’ll never win. You need to have an unshakeable belief that you will succeed and the work ethic to back it up. You need to have thick skin and a delusionally optimistic attitude if you want to succeed in any business,” Can explains.
Despite the right mindset and the best intentions, their business was not a seamless operation. They struggled with numerous obstacles when it came to creating a team and beginning their journey off on the right foot.
“Dealing with untrustworthy people that create problems and friction within the business. This is why it is important to have people around you working inside the business that you can trust and count on to get things done. A team that works well together can take you to places you’d never reach on your own. Finding hard working people to join your team that you can trust is the most important. You can find help anywhere, but it’s difficult to find trustworthy people to help run your business. Once you find those people you can grow your business exponentially,” Steven remarks.
Steven & Can are continuing to grow and become better in the e-commerce industry. What makes them different from others in the business and what has also made them more successful is their ability to pay attention to what customers want and need.
“We listen closely to the feedback we receive from our customers so we can continually improve on our products and provide the best experience possible each and every time. We know our audience very well and we cater to what they like the most,” Steven states.
