Women Who Disrupt

A Top-Performing Entrepreneur, A Single Mom, and Now An Independent Supermodel: Kayla Hodges Sets Her Own Rules.

Breaking All The Rules: Miami Swim Week’s Top Model Isn’t Just A Model.

Miami Swim Week is happening from July 14-17 and some of the biggest models, swim designers, and emerging artists from around the world will be present. Art Hearts Fashion, the producer of the 4-day fashion event at the Faena Forum is recognized as the largest and longest-running production of both Los Angeles Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week.

In cooperation with Dr. Laura, president of DRL agency, an agency specializing in brand activation and investor relations, and who is the art curator this year for Art Heart Fashion Miami Swim Week, the art show is set to be a total immersive experience of both art and fashion.

Perhaps the biggest headline of this event is Kayla Hodges who had the honor of representing “Girl From The Future” – envisioned by Dr. Laura.

Dr. Laura is behind an art and fashion collaboration runway show with the talented Luciana Martinez, designer of Lybethras Swimwear, the #1 Brazilian swimwear brand, featured fourteen years consecutively in Sport Illustrated. Luciana will showcase her one of a kind “fashion forward” bikini on Kayla and will launch a new art inspired bikini line, “Girl From Ipanema.”

“We wanted to show digital art on a runway show, which has never been done before. The digital art piece was created by rising star digital artist Beryl Bilici. “Girl From The Future” represents a woman who is smart, sexy, perfectly imperfect, strong, and bold. This whole art/fashion project is an empowerment piece for women to represent a future where the models are more than about what they look like. This part of the fashion show is about the impact that a model can create in the world. In the future, I envision the model who walk is not just a body that walks by, but she is a woman with a story to tell, she is accomplished, she is impactful, and her heart is one of gold, which is everything Kayla Hodges represented to me when I chose her, “ said Dr. Laura.

Kayla is the opening for the “Girl From The Future” part of the Lybethras show. In fact, she does not even operate as a full time model. As the “#1 Female Sales Trainer Under 30”, single mom, international speaker, coach and business partner of a multi-million dollar company (highticketcoaching.com), she has worked alongside high level entrepreneurs such as Tony Robbins, Gary Vee, Alex Hormozi and others.

Here is why Kayla was also chosen out of thousands by DRL agency and Lybethras to be “Girl from the Future.” Kayla is an independent model in this show, which means she is represented by herself and not by any agencies. She represents breaking the norms of what a traditional runway model is. As a mother and business woman (with tattoos), she represents a woman that can truly have it all.

Kayla first started a career in high ticket sales after spending nearly a decade as a server at various restaurants. She was a natural and she quickly climbed the ranks. After selling millions in event sales for top entrepreneurs such as Gary Vee and Alex Hormozi, she decided it was time to step out on her own. Since making that decision, she has been able to speak on stages around the world, for large companies such as Lamborghini and impact thousands along the way.

For Kayla, opening in one of the world’s biggest fashion events is just another part of living life on her own terms.

“When I first walked into a sales organization five years ago, I had no idea what I was doing. I had been in restaurants previously before that for ten years but, everything I do is about living boldly and inspiring others to do the same,” said Kayla.
She certainly has done that. In the last five years, she has established herself as the #1 sales woman under thirty, trained and developed sales teams, has over $7M in client results, and truly lives life on her own terms. As she walks on one of the biggest stages, as a runway model for Miami Swim Week 2022, she hopes that other women see that anything is possible.

”I am walking for any woman that has been sexualized in business, any woman or man that has been through mental, physical, or sexual abuse, anyone that has been told that you are not good enough, any mom who feels like they cannot have it all. Today, I walk for you,” said Kayla.

Kayla Hodges is an international speaker, Partner of Highticketcoaching.com, and a well sought after sales coach by entrepreneurs and companies around the world. Although she is uniquely qualified to speak to entrepreneurs and business individuals around the world, she is passionate about empowering others to find their voice and calling in life. She is also dedicated to raising awareness for women that are victims of abuse in America and third world countries.
