A Young Model Chasing His Dream: Brandon Turner

Meet Brandon Turner, a fresh face in the modeling industry. He has always been fascinated with cameras, pictures, etc. Thus, he chose a career path that suits his personality the most. With the utmost determination and hard work that Turner shows, he is sure to reach heights of success.

About Brandon Turner

Brandon Turner is a freelance model. He says that he loves to be behind the camera and express himself through photos. A couple of years ago, Turner did his first photo shoot as a hobby because Turner has always been a photogenic person. The more photoshoots he did, the more he realized that he aspired to be a model. Brandon has had the opportunity to travel to California and collaborate with different models. He said that it was an extraordinary experience, and he learned a lot about himself.

Brandon’s thought if Forbes approaches him for an interview

Turner says that he would like Forbes to perceive him as a model from New York who never gave up on his dream and knew that anything was possible if one puts their mind to it.

Turner explaining how he made a name for himself

Turner made a name for himself in the modeling industry by having a unique portfolio on Instagram. He said that firstly, he started working with his friends who had cameras. Later, Brandon transitioned into professional client work. He started his journey by reaching out to different photographers and wanting to collaborate. Turner also applied for modeling events online and plugged himself. ‘This strategy was effective because clients would find me through Instagram.’ says Brandon.

Hurdles that came in Brandon’s career

One of the obstacles that Turner faced was his knowledge of the modeling industry. He states that as a new model, one has to keep their body in shape and take care of them. One also needs to have a portfolio that stands out. ‘Over the years, I have invested in myself and created a portfolio that is very professional and unique to my style.’ marks Turner. He says that people also doubted his potential because of his lack of experience. Although, Turner feels that people’s doubts push him to work even hard and produce high-quality content.

Valuable advice by Brandon Turner

A piece of advice that Turner gives to other models is to be patient and always be oneself. He says that one needs to work on their craft and learn every day to become a better model. He advises the budding models to try and find their style and expand on it. ‘You have to use discipline, get enough sleep, exercise regularly, and eat well. That way, you can show up on time and give the client your best efforts.’ claims Brandon.
