addiRockART Creating Value for Others through Her Creativity
Many businesses fell apart during the COVID-19 crisis, and Andrea Cordero, aka addiRockART’s, company was one of them. Yet despite experiencing significant losses due to the pandemic, the creative artist and content creator didn’t hold back on helping those in need during the unprecedented challenges. Today, she has a story to tell as she has impacted many lives by giving people access to her creative mind and process amidst her hardships.
Andrea usually goes by her artist addiRockART, a name that has rung all across creative spheres. She is a creative who has worked non-stop to develop all sorts of creative ventures and uses her talents to better the community and uplift the creative industry as a whole. As an artist, addiRockART always believes in the power of collaboration. She has worked with various musicians, filmmakers, graphic designers, visual artists, fine artists, and many others in the last fifteen years of her career.
While familiar with the graces of professional success, addiRockART also knows the bitter sting of loss. In 2018, she lost her whole office to a flood that destroyed all her studio equipment overnight. After bouncing back from that calamity, she would experience business tragedy once more when the COVID-19 crisis ravaged the world and shut down most economic activity for months.
Despite the challenges, the artist and creative weren’t one to back down from a need. Since her early days as a creative professional, she has always given a piece of her heart to those in need. For the past several years, she has used her medium and platforms to build awareness of PTSD, as she experienced the same trauma after being robbed at gunpoint. Through the pandemic, addiRockART continued in her altruistic ways amidst financial burden and challenge, volunteering for many causes and charities. One initiative that she was a significant part of was a campaign called “COVAID,” an initiative bent towards providing front liners and medical professionals with protective equipment.
Another cause close to the artist’s heart is a movement to bring more awareness to Aztec culture, which Andrea feels is close to her heart given her Mexican heritage. Her message has also been vital in these times as racial profiling and discrimination continue to propagate. In all she does, addiRockART seeks to provide value to others and make an impact in society.
Still, as the world slowly eases back to a sense of normalcy, addiRockART is now starting to get back on her feet and rebuild her creative agency. She looks forward to working with brands that want to uplift their image and experiences through the visual arts.
Andrea Cordero looks to restart her practice and serve clients while pursuing her non-profit ventures and building the local art community. Nowadays, she looks to actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Tamer Hassan, who continues to help those in need through the hardships of 2020 and 2021.
addiRockART hopes to return to being a full-time creative soon and start working with art galleries, entrepreneurs, and other organizations to develop creative experiences through various media.
