Adeline Er on Self-love and Self-acceptance in Entrepreneurship

Adeline Er is a vibrant, radiant millennial who constantly challenges the status quo and carves her own path, powerfully showing others how to do the same. She helps conscious brands and entrepreneurs own their story unapologetically, step into their power, and unleash their true potential through shadow work, feminine energy and Human Design.

As a highly-respected Manifestor and Feminine Coach (her Human Design type is 6/2 splenic manifestor), she has rapidly become an unstoppable advocate for self-expression. Not only in how we express our most authentic self, truth and most raw and vulnerable ways but also how we as humans can reach our highest potential.

“Only through full self-expression and being aware of our superpowers and potential can we make the impact we want to make and make the world a better place.”

Radical self-love and self-acceptance is key

“This is something many entrepreneurs bypass. Self-love goes beyond manicures, facials, and massages. Self-love includes the deep spiritual, inner soul work you do within yourself. Self-love involves diving deep so you can remember who you once were, beneath the layers of conditioning. Self-love involves knowing that you’re worthy of having it all – everything your heart desires and more. Self-love includes putting yourself first and setting strong boundaries for yourself.

Practice self-love.
Journal your heart out.
Speak affirmations.
Accept yourself for all that you are, and that you are not.

When you start being more aware of your energies, remember to accept it for what it is. Authenticity is now more important than ever, especially with everything happening in the world right now. To show up as most authentic selves, we need to be comfortable with every part of who we are, who we are not, our mistakes, as well as our past failures. This all ties in with both self-love and self-acceptance.”

Know when to walk away from what no longer serves

“In my past career I’ve been a chartered accountant, personal trainer, social media influencer, beauty blogger, and a marketing consultant. We must know that it’s ok to move forward, to walk away from things, or give up when something no longer serves and ultimately be ok with that.

Today I’m completely unfiltered. I place focus on how I’m feeling more than anything and what message I want to put out to the world at any given moment without caring whether or not people will accept or like it. Human Design has really helped me in terms of understanding who I am and how I speak my truth. Back in my corporate and influencer days it felt as though every action I took was with an objective of trying to achieve something such as “I have to say this because it’s going to get me more clients” or “it’s going to get me more reach”. It was a filtered version of what I truly wanted to say. True authenticity is the complete unfiltered version of yourself.”

Daily practices for any leader looking to welcome in higher levels of self-love and self-acceptance

“Ask better questions, journal, and meditate. Every time a block comes up or you feel off, ask yourself “what parts of myself am I repressing?” Whether it be your quirkiness, your inappropriate jokes, or something else. What part of yourself is being repressed because of your professional title or who you “think” you should be? Part of you that you may be repressing is actually a big part of your personality and could be the winning ticket to connecting deeply with your next client.

You shouldn’t compromise yourself or your truth for any job, person, or title. Instead, get clear on what your heart desires. The reason why we hit a wall is because we chase things like money and fame. Then when we achieve it we realise it’s not what we actually wanted. What we really want is freedom, peace, and being able to do things we enjoy.”

Lastly, Adeline recommends all leaders and aspiring leaders take time off for themselves and go on a self-discovery journey because as soon as we get down to the core of our being and alignment, then everything begins to expand. Money starts to flow to us, as soon as we begin doing what we love.
