Women Who Disrupt
Amy Toft’s Three Tips To Growing A Business

If there’s one goal Amy Toft has as an entrepreneur, it’s helping people unlock their full potential to make the most of things. As an avid runner and marathoner, Amy appreciates the challenges and the grind in a good way because she believes it’s where people find their strength to succeed.
She also strongly desires discipline and doesn’t believe that a failure is an option. Amy refuses to quit in any area of her life.
“From a very young age, my brain has never turned off from wanting to help impact as many people as possible and as creatively as possible. I truly thrive on this,” she said.
Her passion for discipline and eye for the goal transfers to others through her coaching business, which she dubbed Master Your Power. Through her, people learn to embrace their flaws and turn them into strengths, allowing them to achieve their dreams.
As an entrepreneur, Amy has to grow her business to widen her reach and impact more people with her empowering message. She does so by remaining true to herself, following values to govern her actions, and never turning away from challenges.
“I formed Mater Your Power as I genuinely believe that everyone has it in them to find their unique qualities and horn in on mastering them to their fullest potential,” she explained.
She wants people to understand that life is limitless if they’re willing to work. Moreover, she created the platform to help others realize that they must let go of others’ opinions to master their best selves.
“Having many people reach out to me and express their gratitude for how I have impacted their lives in the best way. It means the world to me to give a gift and watch another person find theirs,” she shared.
Remaining Authentic
“The main component as I grow my brand and business is to stay 100 percent authentically true to who I am so I can impact as many people as possible to the best of my ability!” Amy shared.
Since Amy firmly believes that failure isn’t an option, she always gives her best in her coaching business.
“We all only get one life, and that’s it. It isn’t a dress rehearsal, and I don’t take my life as one,” she said.
People love listening to Amy because she brings her genuine self to the table. It also helps grow her business as she speaks her mind about how people can succeed as individuals.
She wants people to understand tomorrow isn’t promised and to go after their goals and dreams today.
Remaining authentic is also one of the most challenging things Amy faced in growing her brand. As a result, it took longer to see the results she hoped. But with determination, she eventually reached her goals in her chosen field.
“There is no get-quick strategy in my book, and I stand firm in it. It is challenging, like stepping on the gas and won’t let up. You want to reach as many people as possible the fastest way you can. The challenge I faced is it was not a sprint—it was a marathon. You’re in for the long haul!” the life coach said.
Maintaining Her Core Values
Besides valuing her authenticity, Amy also strictly adheres to a strict set of values in running her coaching platform. Although simple, it empowers her to fulfill her purpose of helping others.
Among Amy’s core principles is showing up for others. As a coach, Amy always has to show her clients that she supports them and brings them back up from their lowest.
For the life coach, Amy believes that having her morals, ethics, and values in line when her head hits the pillow is all that matters at night.
“There will be many things in life you can’t control. But my principles in business and life are something I will always have control over,” she said.
Amy has been creating content for years to help others find their inner power. She now hopes to expand and run a more relevant platform to widen her audience.
Learning From Her Challenges
Due to her background as a runner and marathoner, Amy faced several struggles that taught her how to become a fighter and push through no matter the circumstance. Some of these hurdles were personal.
“Having my hands crippled and feet deformed allowed me to find a strength within me to grow extremely strong in who I am, not only as a person but who I can be in showing up for others,” she said.
Amy also learned to face her struggles to help others with theirs genuinely.
“I took my struggles and turned them into successes by still showing up every day, no matter what,” Amy said.
Thanks to her dedication to her platform, Amy has grown her reach and impact more people with a positive message that allows them to master their inner powers.
