Apart From Being Visionary, Lindsay Barrz Has All it Takes To Reign in The Music Industry

Lindsay Barrz is a self-taught hip-hop artist from Northern New Jersey. She has been a percussionist since the 4th grade, where she first learned how to keep a beat. Barrz wrote her first song when she was 16 after a wrenching heartbreak, and so, her poetic skills turned into rap skills from that day on.

Her first single, ‘The Last Visit,’ created a buzz amongst friends, family, and acquaintances, coming as a surprise and throwing a wrench in the stereotypical cogwheel. As Barrz has developed more as a woman, so has she as a spiritually wealthy artist. Once only making music with the best of the talent, she switched up her approach to doing every song and every feature, even if it’s a free one.

She would rather network and create lasting relationships than squander an opportunity over money. Lindsay’s influences include early Drake,  Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper, KB, Eminem, MGK and more. Music, athletics, creative writing, and massage therapy are a few hobbies and fortes of Ms. Barrz. The perfectionist that she is, Lindsay goes H.A.M at everything she does.

Her goals include incurring a worldwide fan base, moving out to LA, making music with the artists that influenced her, and taking care of her family and friends. In March of 2018, the influence of Jesus changed her forever after her near-life-long struggle. Lindsay Barrz’ mission is to pass on her strength and wisdom to others through her heartfelt music to which she pours her soul into.

I have a few singles dropping periodically throughout the next few months, however I never go too long without giving my fanbase another song to munch on if I can help it. Most importantly, the next big release is my single “Persona Non Grata,” meaning a character not welcomed, and will be accompanied by its high-budget, official music video.” She said in an exclusive interview with Disrupt.

In conclusion, Lindsay Barrz is a visionary artist who has more stored for the future. “Music is an expression of my feelings and emotions. The pen and paper always listen to what I have to say. I want to pass on my trials and successes, and communicate to my listeners. I want to make music people can enjoy, dance to, celebrate with, relate to, send to their lovers and friends when they feel like the song is talking about them, fall asleep to, give them encouragement, and so much more. I want to make one of the largest labels that promotes struggling/underground/emerging artists. As non profitable as it may be, I want to take chances on artists that may barely even have a social media presence, but they definitely bring the heat when it comes to their music.” She concludes.
