Artist and Entrepreneur Alex Castle has Reached Thousands With Her Art in Just a Year

In today’s competitive online environment, many people hope to create revenue streams online. The internet is a vast place, and there are niche markets for nearly anything you can think of. In the case of Alex Castle, she has found a comfortable spot selling her black and white free form artworks in the form of originals, prints, and apparel from a social media platform.

Finding Her Entrepreneurial Feet

Artist, business owner, and advocate Alex Castle grew up surrounded by artistic influences. After graduating from USC with a degree in Communication and Design, Alex decided to take her love for art and turn it into a living. Understanding the power of social media, Alex began sharing her artwork on an Instagram page to grow a platform.

Her Instagram page quickly became a hit, growing in numbers quickly. Since its inception, her page has grown to over 25,000 followers, which has taken her brand to the next level. Alex has been producing and selling original art as original pieces and prints. As the business has grown, Alex has started adding other things to her store as well.  You can find a variety of shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, and bags all featuring Alex’s art on her website.

Alex puts a heavy focus on quality over quantity, and the products she makes for her store reflect that. Each artwork is meticulously crafted and paired with high-quality garments. From embroidered jackets to silk-screened tees, everything is made with care.

An Inspirational Background and Willingness to Give

Alex has been encouraged and inspired by her family throughout her life, and she strives to give back to her fans and customers. Alex tells us that the best part of her job is the reactions she gets from her clients.  She loves to make them happy and this is what is most important to her. Alex heavily involves herself and her business with non-profit organizations and other entrepreneurs and figures in order to raise money and awareness for a variety of causes.

Looking Into the Future

Alex plans to continue building her business through innovation, consistency, quality and making new connections with clients or other business owners. In regards to this topic, Alex told us, “As cliche as it sounds, hard work and being genuine with people are the two key factors that I focus on”. That strategy seems to be working well for this talented artist, as her following continues to expand on a regular basis.
