Aspiring Female Entrepreneurs Seek Guidance from Sofia Estrada Castro, the Real Estate Investing Queen

Sofia Estrada Castro is a woman who now thinks outside of the box, but it wasn’t always that way. Before Sofia was introduced to her husband Bobby all she knew was hard work. Her family was never exposed to the business world so Sofia did the best with what she knew at the time which was how to be the best employee possible. Her hard work and dedication while she had little allowed her to better manage when much was given.  Sofia wanted to aim higher and achieve financial success for herself and her family. Entrepreneurship seemed to be the best way to make that happen.

The Success

Sofia went through a lot of struggles to achieve the success that she has today. People call her the “Real Estate Investing Queen” because she is one of the most successful female real estate investors in the country. She went from buying and selling condominium conversions to investing in multi-family real estate.

So, how did she get to this point in her life?

Her History

After Sofia got married to her husband, Bobby, the two of them went into business together. Despite having no experience in the business world, they gave it their best. Unfortunately, the company they created went under within the first year. To stack on the pressure even further, Sofia got pregnant with their daughter. So, they had no choice but to get regular jobs.

“Most women would have given up in my position,” said Sofia. “However, I didn’t let my new responsibilities stop me from wanting to pursue my dreams. I just needed to find the time to try again, and I did.”

That was when they came across a company that was selling a $1,800 training guide on how to start a leasing brokerage business. Despite the fact that they were working a combined 4 jobs they knew that this opportunity could be the thing that took them to the next level in their lives. They made the sacrifice of taking on this venture along with their jobs and raising a child because they were motivated to reach the next level in their life.

“We were desperate to start a new business, so we borrowed the $1,800 from our parents and bought the guide,” said Sofia. “Sure enough, it taught us how to build a powerful network by forming relationships and building trust with other professionals in the industry. A short time later we ended up taking our business to the next level. A combination of mentorship from the owner and our sweat equity  put us on the path to success.”

Sofia and her husband Bobby continued to operate based on the core value that relationships are more important than money which allowed them to find their first business partner in 2001 who helped them to scale their company to a billion dollar valuation as of June 2019.   In 2004 the trio of partners began investing the profits from their business into condo conversions and then eventually multi-family properties. Now she is a millionaire real estate investor and wishes to empower other women to follow a similar path as her.

Helping Others

“I know there are a lot of women out there looking for something and someone who can help them to reach the next level in business,” said Sofia. “They are worried about how they’re going to pay the bills at the end of the month like I was. They are feeling like they have hit a wall in their progression and are ready to do something that has no limits for the amount of work they are willing to put in.  With the right training, they can turn their lives around and live out their dreams of financial freedom.”

Sofia has created a real estate course geared explicitly toward teaching aspiring female investors and entrepreneurs on how to invest in multi family real estate. The course offers exclusive mentorship and guidance to investors who are trying to land their first successful real estate deal and profit from it. A select group of students will even receive personal step-by-step guidance from Sofia herself.

If I had a strong female entrepreneur who I could have learned from back in the early 2000’s it would have saved me millions of dollars”. Said Sofia I believe that every lady would want the opportunity to learn from someone who had already made the mistakes that could potentially derail them on the path to success in any venture, Real Estate is no different.“I’m proud to offer my expertise and hands-on experience to help my students find independence and empower them to strive towards building generational wealth for themselves and their families.”
