Az Nosrati, a feisty individualist driven to achieve more.

Modeling is indeed a fantabulous and dreamy field to work in. It is not only glamorous, but also a very intoxicating way to earn one’s living. It is a remunerative career option which involves long hours of shooting in outdoor locations and a lot of enjoyment. The major imperatives to becoming a fashion model are being photogenic, buoyant, having an optimistic attitude, a lot of grace and charm. And one such woman who lives up to all these attributes is Az Nosrati. This hazel blue eye colored girl with an attractive personality can pounce on anyone’s heart. This Dubai based half Armenian/persian girl started modeling at the age of 17, therefore living this lifestyle since last 12 years. “Modeling came naturally to me. I didn’t choose it but I think it chose me. Actually it all started like going to events for modeling, walking the catwalk, posing in front of the camera when I was 17. Modeling is neither my work nor my hobby, instead it’s my lifestyle. I choose my wardrobe, I know how to style, how to pose, what to wear, what to not. I really love what I do” says Az.

Ms Nosrati has been very hard-working, determined and a career oriented girl. She started working at a very young age. She has 8 years of experience in sales as a sales executive, in exhibitions and hosting the shows. She has always been a top performer in companies in Dubai because of her communicating skills and her extroverted nature as she really savours every moment talking to people and making friends. Ms Nosrati is a self-made girl who never depended on her parents. She made her own way and is now brilliantly following it.

Can you imagine a world without fashion? A world without clothes? A place without makeup and accessories. I am sure the answer will be NO. Similarly, the fashion industry is incomplete without fashion models. They are the faces of the fashion industry. Az Nosrati was honoured with the title of MISS INTERNATIONAL Dubai, 2020. She shares her experiences, “It was really amazing. I felt very lucky to be able to stand with so many talented girls from all over Dubai. Everyone had their own story and their own journey and we were all there to have fun. From listening to numerous different stories to witnessing the impact of their efforts first-hand, it was all good.” Az has forged her own path in modeling and proven that this is what she was made for. Az is a ballet dancer too. She explains her passion for dance, “I love dancing a lot. It is my life. It doesn’t even matter how old or young you are. If you love dance, this art form can always be present in your life one way or another. It is a powerful tool to help you lift your mood and find a purpose in life. I don’t make a lot of dancing videos because of a busy schedule but many dancing projects are lined up & coming next year and I am looking forward to that.”

For decades, modeling was a silent profession, where women were supposed to be seen and never heard. But now models have social media platforms, so even if they are not incredibly well known, they can still have a relatively big following. Indeed, modelling has become a part of social media platforms. Models can be seen whenever and wherever they want in these days of social media. Az Nosrati who took matters into her own hands, sharing pictures of herself and enchanting people with her feed. She is a strong woman who has done everything by herself.
