There are a lot of marketers online who claim to be able to help businesses gain new customers through their marketing strategies, but most unfortunately fall drastically short when it comes to actually being able to deliver solid results. Too many companies are witnessing their monthly marketing budget go down the drain without anything to show for it.
However, one entrepreneur from Ohio is part of the few who have actually managed to bring a tremendous return on investment to many of his clients. Brandon Stallkamp’s firm, Express Leads Way, has served fortune 500 companies such as AT&T, Walmart, Apple, Samsung, and many more, and his proprietary software has changed the way that many of his clients now do business because of the fact that they no longer have to worry about anything but simply closing the deal and delivering their service. This saves his clients time, money, and energy.
Today we have the special privilege to share with you three of this entrepreneur’s best pieces of advice for both the marketer who is looking to perfect their skills, as well as the company who is wanting to dial-in their lead generation efforts.
1. If you do the same thing over and over again, don’t expect to create any different results.
This may come as a given to most, however it surprises Brandon how many businesses are making the mistake of not switching up their strategy when it comes to attracting new customers. Most businesses are relying on old-school strategies and tactics that don’t scale nor are trackable.
“Predictability is key when it comes to marketing, and it should be every business’ goal to create a process that is consistently generating leads at a cost that works with the rest of their numbers,” Brandon mentioned.
If you are currently struggling with attracting customers at the rate you would like, then it just might be time to begin trying out some new methods. Remember, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
2. Business is like a revolving door, and your intention needs to be to keep that revolving door spinning.
A big issue that many businesses have is that they put energy and time into marketing in order to gain a few new customers, but then they stop whatever it was that they had just done to get that new business. Most of the time it’s because of issues with fulfillment and delivery, but if you are operating that way then that means you aren’t really running a true business.
Every business needs to be looked at as a machine, where marketing is the fuel that keeps that machine running. And when the right marketing is being applied to that machine, profit creation becomes the consistent result.
Start operating your business as a machine and you’ll not only go from a “hustler” to a true business owner, but you’ll also quickly notice the numbers that you desire to see increase do just that.
3. If you haven’t mastered lead generation, find someone who has and can teach you what they know (or better yet, take over that task completely).
Staying in your lane is important. While it may be valuable for you to learn how to properly market your business, it may not even be the best use of your time. Sometimes it’s best for the business owner to just find the right person who can get the job done right for them.
Hiring a Marketing Director is the path that some take, however it can get pretty expensive. Plus, hiring the right talent in-house who actually knows what it is that they are doing can be even more expensive. That’s why it might be best to instead find a firm who can completely take over that task without the hefty fee that comes with adding a new team member.
“Look, there are plenty of marketing firms out there who can do a great job in regards to getting businesses new leads. Our leverage over our competition is not only the incredible talent of media buyers on our team who have decades of experience, but also the fact that we have a software that has worked absolute wonders for our clients,” Brandon told us.
If you are at a point where you are looking to ramp up your marketing efforts, and by that we mean you simply want more customers, we highly recommend you get in contact with Brandon to see what it is that he and his company could do for you.
Who knows, you just may become their next success story.
