Small Town Roots, Big-Time Aspirations

Brittany Crisp, also known as “Bcrispin” to thousands of people on social media, is a prominent model and influencer who hails from the small town of Exeter, New Hampshire. Crisp never allowed the adversity of growing up in a small town to deter her from reaching the bright lights of stardom. In fact, Crisp faced a great deal of adversity in her high school years when she found herself constantly bullied from her freshman year to her junior year. Despite the traumatic experience, Crisp was an academic star and had made a short-term goal of attending college for graphic design.

Crisp graduated from high school and went on to attend college in Vermont to study graphic design. She was always passionate about graphic design, and after a successful college career she went on to work as a graphic designer for a lightbulb company by the name of Sylvania in which she designed packaging and graphics for seven years. She had set a long-term goal for herself of creating her own creative firm one day, but with the current salary of her job, she was not very hopeful that her goal was realistic. To her dismay, Crisp’s company did not renew her contract once it expired. This sudden change left her without a job, and the future seemed very unsure to her at the time.

Chasing a Dream

With her job of seven years coming to an end, Crisp figured it was the perfect time to chase her childhood dream of becoming a model. From the time she was a teenager, Crisp had always been inspired by the women on the covers of Maxim Magazine, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and Playboy. She also aspired to be on the cover of a major publication herself someday, a goal that she still relentlessly pursues. With social media becoming more popular than ever, Crisp saw an opportunity to quickly become noticed online. She had always been intrigued by popular fitness models such as Anllela Sagra, Katya Henry, Sommer Ray and Lauren Driainfit. She began working out again, and started to share her progress photos as well as various modeling photos to her Instagram.

The feedback was incredible, and Crisp began to quickly accumulate followers with each new post. More importantly, she had a strong connection with her new fans, and realized that she was actually inspiring and motivating others to be the best version of themselves. She strongly desired to take her platform to the next level, so Crisp decided that being authentic and transparent in her personal affairs was the route she would take. She began sharing both positive and negative experiences of her life with her followers, as she had experienced her fair share of both. Her authentic nature and stunning content took her to an even higher level- one where she began to make more money than she previously ever had at her corporate jobs. To Brittany, it’s not about the money so much as it is about doing what makes her happy. Fortunately, inspiring others does just that.

She has many significant plans for the future, both modeling and personal aspirations. First and foremost, she is working hard to grace the cover of a prominent magazine in the near future- a goal she’s had since she was a teenager. She is consistently working hard to take her modeling career to new heights, and the future is looking promising for Brittany. She also plans to return to college in the future to pursue her Master’s Degree in business, and mentioned that she will use some of the money she’s earned on social media to fund it. In the future, Crisp plans to utilize her natural entrepreneurial talents to build her own creative firm; however, for now she is focused on helping and inspiring others through her influential online presence.
