CEO, Jordan Stupar Shares His Insights on What To Expect When You Become An Entrepreneur

Did you know that 97% of self-employed professionals say they would never go back to traditional employment? While there are many reasons for this, like the switch being too hard to make, the one thing that stands out is that entrepreneurship provides you with the perfect avenue to add value to others in your unique ways. When Jordan ventured into entrepreneurship, he knew he had something special to share. With over 17 years of experience and 10K hours learning things the hard way, he was keen to help others succeed in a field that he has developed so much passion.

Who is Jordan Stupar?

Jordan Stupar is the CEO and founder of Stupar Sales Academy, a sales development and business consulting company that empowers salespeople and businesses with sales strategies to help them excel in today’s marketplace. Over the last three years, he has started three successful companies, leveraging his sales skills to start, scale, and even successfully negotiate the exit of his own SaaS Company.

Jordan began his career selling alarm systems door-to-door but quickly got addicted to the thrill of getting a deal to happen. Several years down the line, Jordan had become the top salesperson within many organizations and even won the reality TV show, Whatever It Takes. He has been able to earn over $1 Million in sales commissions in under three years and quit his $500K/ year job to start his business. Moving into entrepreneurship, he is growing and sharing. Here is his take on what to expect as an entrepreneur.

The need to focus on your goals

Having clear goals gives you a sense of direction and lays the foundation for what you need to achieve them. Jordan notes that accomplishing the things you want to do in your life requires laser-sharp focus. His advice to entrepreneurs is to stop spending time, money, energy, effort, and attention on things that do not directly contribute to their goals. Like Bruce Lee once said, ‘the successful warrior is the average man, with laser-like focus.’ Once you make up your mind on something, go after it with all your effort, and avoid anything that will side-track your attention. Jordan has been able to build several 6-figure businesses from scratch in under three years, by focusing solely on his goals and working hard every day.

Learning how to pivot when challenges arise

It is hard to have it all figured-out in business and in life. Look at the unprecedented events brought about by COVID. As an entrepreneur, when challenges arise, how you cope, adapt, and move past the obstacles is essential. Jordan founded his SaaS Company providing CRM tools for businesses, which he was able to sell and exit after two years, and then re-launched Stupar Sales Academy. Jordan believes that success is a daily decision, and so you have to make the right decisions every day to get to the point where you want to be.

Creating a personal brand

While creating a brand might be essential for your business, for every entrepreneur, having a personal brand is the key to success. The truth is, potential buyers, trust personal brands over company brands. Why? Because people buy from people they trust. Jordan believes that every business leader or salesperson should have the attention of developing their personal brand and invest in building strong positive relationships with their customers.

Finding a way to keep on top of the game

The world is full of competition. You are either doing what someone else is doing. Alternatively, someone else is trying to do what you are doing. It would be best if you mastered your unique value proposition. While there are many sales training ‘gurus’ out there, Jordan’s coaching program combines real sales experiences and an understanding of today’s ever-changing landscape. He teaches salespeople and businesses how to leverage a more modern approach to maximizing business opportunities.

Jordan created Stupar Sales Academy to share actionable guides and resources for others at scale. He has been able to turn his passion into value, not just for himself but also for thousands of salespeople and businesses in different industries.
