Dr. Alexis Parcells is a renowned board-certified plastic surgeon with the mission to change the stigma of plastic surgery. Her goal is to empower women, and erase the guilt that goes along with a choice to have a botox treatment or cosmetic procedure.

As a woman and a mother of two young daughters, she is very passionate about advocating for the health of women. She specializes breast and body cosmetic surgery like breast lifts, breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, mommy makeover, and breast reconstruction. Dr. Parcells also has a skincare studio, SUNNIE where she offers services like Botox fillers and CO2 laser to protect and correct fine lines and sun damage. She sells clean medical-grade skincare products like SPF, cleanser, eye cream, and corrective creams.

Her passion for treating and caring for patients started while she was a child. She became interested in plastic surgery through her volunteer work with Operation Smile. At the age of 16, she went on her first medical mission to Morocco. While in Morocco, Dr. Alexis saw first-hand how the lives of children and their families changed with a simple 1-hour operation. Her experiences in Morocco further reinforced her passion to focus her studies on a career in medicine.

She attended St. George’s University in Grenada, and upon her graduation was matched into a Plastic Surgery residency program. During that period, she enjoyed treating members of her community and focused her practice on breast reconstruction and aesthetics (cosmetic surgery). Since her graduation, she has expanded her practice with the same goal to empower her patients to make positive changes in their lives.

Dr. Alexis Parcells is well-known in the plastic surgery community and has authored several books and professional journal articles. She has also presented her original research at many international and national meetings including New York, Brussels, Madrid, and Paris. In her practice, she has always focused on educating and empowering her patients by giving them the most up-to-date on products and procedures. This is to enable the patients to make the best decision on what is right for their body.

Dr. Parcells did not become successful without some challenging moments. In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, she started her own practice and had to learn how to build a business without any prior experience. She treats women from all walks of life, and offers both cosmetic and reconstructive services. Dr. Parcells is also involved with several breast cancer organizations and serves on different boards and foundations. Today, Dr. Alexis Parcells has this advice for everyone reading this, “Think of your setbacks as challenges and not failures, learn from them and forge ahead.
