Christopher King Unlocks The Potential Of Millions With WAM

Christopher King, an entrepreneur, closes the mentoring gap in the world and emphasizes on the importance of mentors for kids of color through his ventures, Theo, WAM, and Black Excellence Sale.

A mentor acts as a guide that shines the light for the blurred paths of success. The world is not yet fully aware of the potential of a mentor-mentee relationship at scale with the help of tech for youth. Mentors have carried the baton of success and handed them to their students over the years with their knowledge. The mentors invest limited time and personal insight into telling their stories for their mentees to bloom into a brighter future version. Christopher King seeks to revolutionize the mentoring space with We Are Marcus new platform WAM Academy to revive the old culture of mentoring through the touch of his eccentric ideas.

Christopher King is an activist entrepreneur, educator, and consultant who seeks to empower the youth of the world with an effective roadmap that leads to the achievement of goals. His venture WAM gives the opportunity of mentoring black men, and for black youth to soak in the knowledge and solidify their path towards success. His ventures are inspired by his own mentor-mentee relationship, where his mentor didn’t lose hope in him and guided him to the pivotal stage of life.

We Are Marcus was created in 2016 by Christopher to transform the world’s outlook on mentoring. The foundation for it is the pure and memorable mentorship experience Christopher had himself. His mentor led him to growth by believing in him and answering the early questions in life that he didn’t know to ask when he was a college student.

This creation was followed by the launch of  Black Excellence Sale which was inspired by WAM. This e-commerce store helps to support the fundraising of WAM Impact Partners. Students, families, educators and allies support high achievement in the community, and he wanted to show them his appreciation, by creating dedicated merchandise. The designs are inspired by all things black excellence and the voice of the youth.

Theo Advisors began in 2020 serving pre-incubator and post-accelerator diverse founders experiencing growing pains with their businesses. These rising startup leaders desire tailored advice from diverse investors and industry advisors without selling equity. Theo offers founder advisory and leverages Christopher and his teams’ expertise in tech, education, healthcare, and real estate.

Together, these 3 ventures create the unbeatable combo that can clear the mind and path blocks of black youth and founders with a desire. Christopher has the goal to inspire more people, especially in the community of color to pursue their passion for creating revenue-generating businesses.

His ventures will lead to less friction, more fruitful communion, and the ignition of new ideas that will help both the people and the community to advance. He wants to provide clarity to the students, and he roots for the success of every black kid. He wants to close the gap of 16 million mentors and reduce the hurdles that youth are facing without the guidance of someone experienced. Explore the world of mentoring by visiting here.
