Cordova – A Rap Star and Businessman at Heart Who Loves Networking

The brilliant rap star Cordova came from humble beginnings in a small town in Iowa but felt as though he never fit into the scene there. He always strived for a better lifestyle with dreams of more. After working day jobs for years after college, Cordova decided to give his rap career a chance in 2020. After working to find his sound, he dropped his first track with Boosie in the summer of 2021. This track had mixed reviews as only his first song, but he quickly pivoted to make a song with Alamo Records artist Lil Gotit, which received a better reception as an indication of how his music was sounding. He ultimately started to find his groove with rap.
This new sound he encapsulated proved to the region that he was finally finding his stride. His desire to work with other artists showed his willingness to be approachable and collaborative in his efforts to go to the next level.
His numbers speak for themselves. He has earned 500k total streams in less than 2 years, and he has added so many cool features for the artist he will sign to his label. Any IG page, Times Square billboard, YouTube promo, or anything else you need, Cordova has at his fingertips. Cordova is a businessman at heart and loves networking with people.
In early 2022, Cordova saw an opportunity to start an out-of-state label and marketing firm, named BlueStripsENT, to sign other artists from the region and state. As this business grew, he made waves in Iowa and finally garnered the attention of many artists not even from the region. He is a new artist in a niche sub-genre trying to do what many rappers in the same style have done before him. Yet, he wants to encapsulate a new sound and bring it to the table. All the while, he helps artists in an unheard and untapped part of the country.
His biggest purpose is to inspire others to succeed through his music. Music is meant to make you think, make you laugh, make you cry; music plays at parties and at funerals. You need music in your life to help move through a day. How each person moves through a day varies. Music expresses people’s desires, whether they live in cities or small towns. People’s music preferences are as diverse as people are.
