Dave Carroll of DOPE Marketing: Helping Businesses Leverage The Advantages Of Direct Mail

Direct mail advertising is known to have a return on investment of 29%, compared to digital ads (16%) and paid search (28%). Furthermore, only 44% of people can recall a brand immediately after seeing a digital ad compared to 75% of people who receive direct mail.

One of the most effective kinds of advertising in the world is direct mail, as it is sent via a less cluttered channel than digital marketing. Also, a direct mail campaign often costs a small fraction of what it generates in return. Carroll emphasizes the value direct mail can have for a business’s bottom line, stating, “If you have a CRM, a workflow, customers and a pulse, you need to be sending automated direct mail.”
